It's been a while since I shared a review in this beautiful community 😉, but after reading Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, I think the perfect opportunity has arrived. >Tenía tiempo sin compartir una reseña en esta hermosa comunidad 😉, pero después de leer La Isla del Tesoro de Robert Louis Stevenson creo que llegó la oportunidad perfecta.
This novel is divided into several parts, the first: The Old Pirate, is composed of six chapters, the second: The Cook on Board, also has six chapters, the third part: My Adventure on the Island has three chapters, the fourth part: The Lever has six chapters, the fifth: My Adventure by Sea has six chapters and the seventh and last part consists of seven chapters. This story, narrated by the main protagonist, is an imaginary fact of the author, said adventures take place in the year 1763.
Esta novela está dividida en varias partes, la primera: El viejo Pirata, está compuesta por seis capítulos, la segunda: El Cocinero de Abordo, también tiene seis capítulos, la tercera parte: Mi Aventura en la Isla tiene tres capítulos, la cuarta parte: La Palanca tiene seis capítulos, la quinta: Mi Aventura por el Mar tiene seis capítulos y la séptima y última parte consta de siete capítulos. Esta historia, narrada por el principal protagonista, es un hecho imaginario del autor, dichas aventuras transcurren en el año 1763.
They embark on a schooner called "The Hispaniola" Dr. Livesey, the gentleman, Captain Trelawney, the gentleman's servant, the thirteen-year-old boy, Jim and twenty more sailors, heading for Treasure Island, they were precisely in search of a treasure buried by the pirate: Captain Flint, this map was found by Jimm in the chest that this pirate carried with him when he arrived one afternoon at Admiral Bembow's inn, which belonged to Jim's father.

The pirate who commanded the mutiny was Silver, a man who was missing a leg and who was the ship's cook. After landing on the island and after many adventures, Jim and his friends managed to find the treasure.

After analyzing this novel, I realize that in its narrative, men try to survive, they try to fulfill their dreams, and a young man, almost a child, becomes a man and learns the price of living. It is a work about courage, the emotion of courage, an immense learning experience about social behavior, and how, in the face of the glitter of treasure, pirates forget loyalty and camaraderie. This story establishes a moral code, a game of loyalties and survival, of fascinations and renunciations, and the price of living that transforms the fearful child of the first pages into the easygoing and fortunate Jim Hawkins who returns to Bristol.
Después de analizar esta novela me doy cuenta que en su narrativa los hombres van a intentar sobrevivir, intentarán cumplir sus sueños, y un muchacho, casi un niño, va a convertirse en un hombre y va a aprender el precio de vivir. Es una obra sobre el valor, la emoción ante el valor, un inmenso aprendizaje sobre los comportamientos sociales, y como ante el brillo del tesoro los piratas se olvidan de la lealtad y la camaradería. En este relato se establece un código moral, un juego de lealtades y supervivencia, de fascinaciones y renuncias y lo que es el precio de vivir que transforma al niño asustadizo de las primeras páginas en el desenvuelto y venturoso Jim Hawkins que regresa a Bristol.
As the story ends in the final paragraph, Jim already knows what it takes to become a member of his community, but he also knows that he can never silence in his heart the call of the sea, the freedom and wonder of the illusion that draws him toward the buried gold. The parrot's final screeches—"Doubloons! Doubloons!"—give Treasure Island its strange, somber grandeur.

The author of this novel set out to entertain a young boy and wrote for him an adventure with filibusters, a ship, the sea, an island, a treasure map, a mutiny, a corsair song, the shadow of Flint, a lovable pirate with only one leg and a parrot on his shoulder, a young man who learns to be a man by the wind of the sails.
El autor de esta novela se propuso divertir a un muchacho y escribió para él una aventura con filibusteros, un barco, el mar, una isla, el mapa de un tesoro, un motín, una canción corsaria, la sombra de Flint, un entrañable pirata con una sola pierna y un loro en el hombro, un joven que aprende a ser hombre al viento de las velas.
