Greetings to everyone in the Top Family community. Today I'm joining us again for the TBT Thursday contest, as always with a new story behind the photo. I'll be leaving the contest link at the end of the post for anyone who wants to join. That said, let's get started.
The photo this time dates back to around 2000, although honestly, my mom (who keeps these photos) couldn't tell me the exact date either. We estimate it must be around the beginning of 2000, since, as you can see in the photo, the house in the background belongs to my maternal grandmother, Hilda. That is, by then we were already living at my grandmother's house, and that memory is surely related to Christmas or New Year's celebrations. She does remember that, and so do I, because we always wore that outfit to go out somewhere or celebrate something. My mom and dad used to dress us in those kinds of outfits because they thought they were really pretty on us. And, well, I liked them too.
My mom always liked to dress in white, pink, or pastel suits or dresses. And her pearl necklace. I always loved seeing her dressed that way because she looked so beautiful. Well, she still does. Although now I'm the one who takes the family photos. It was probably my dad who took this picture of us. I remember that Dad was the one who took everyone's pictures because I think he secretly had a passion for photography. He even wore a vest where he carried his camera. The truth is that Christmas was always my favorite time of year; it felt like a precious magic, and I still long for it when those holidays arrive. This is one of the few photographs where my mom, my sister, and I are together. I think it's become one of my favorite photographs because there's a certain expression of innocence and complicity on our faces. I'm glad to see it again because I had forgotten it existed. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para unirme nuevamente al concurso de Jueves de TBT, cómo siempre con una nueva historia detras de la fotografía. Estaré dejando el enlace del concurso al final de la publicación para todo aquel que desee unirse. Dicho esto, comencemos con ello.La fotografía de esta ocasión data de alrededor de los años 2000, aunque sinceramente mi mamá (quién guarda estás fotografías) tampoco supo decirme con exactitud la fecha. Calculamos que debe ser entre los inicios del 2000 ya que cómo se ve en la fotografía, esa casa que se observa al fondo es la de mi abuela materna, Hilda. Es decir, para ese momento ya nosotros vivíamos en casa de mi abuela y seguramente ese recuerdo está relacionado a las celebraciones de Navidad o Año Nuevo. Eso sí lo recuerda ella y yo también porque esa vestimenta siempre la usábamos para salir a algún sitio o celebrar algo. Mi mamá y mi papá solían vestirnos con ese tipo de conjuntos porque les parecían muy bonitos para nosotras. Y bueno, a mí también me gustaban.Mi mamá siempre gusto de vestir con trajes o vestidos blancos, rosas o pasteles. Y su collar de perlas. Siempre me gustó verla vestida de esa forma pues se veía muy bella. Bueno, todavía lo hace. Aunque ahora soy yo la que toma las fotografías familiares. Seguramente quién tomó esta fotografía de nosotras era mi papá. Yo recuerdo que papá era quién le tomaba las fotografías a todos porque creo que en secreto tenía cierta pasión por la fotografía. Incluso usando un chaleco donde cargaba su cámara. Lo cierto de todo esto es que las navidades siempre fueron mis fechas favoritas, se sentía una magia preciosa y que aún anhelo cuando llegan esas fechas. Esta es una de las pocas fotografías dónde estamos mi mamá, mi hermana y yo. Creo que se ha vuelto una de mis fotografías favoritas, porque hay cómo una cierta expresión de inocencia y complicidad en nuestras caras. Me alegra poder verla de nuevo pues ya había olvidado que existía. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí y leer mí publicación.
