Celebramos los 89 años de mi Madre querida. 💞 We celebrate my beloved mother's 89th birthday.

Hoy vengo con una felicidad inmensa en mi corazón para contarles un evento muy especial que ha ocurrido en la familia y es que cada año cuando llega el 23 de agosto todos nos ponemos muy contentos para celebrar la vida de nuestra Madre. >Today I come with immense happiness in my heart to tell you about a very special event that has taken place in our family. Every year, when August 23rd rolls around, we all get very excited to celebrate our mother's life.  ¡Vidalia! como su nombre lo indica es VIDA y vida en sinónimo de alegría, entusiasmo, ganas de vivir. Mi madre es de esas personas que le alegran la vida a todo aquel que s ele acerca, ella jamás anda molesta o con el ánimo por debajo, creo que su principal secreto ha sido la fe, la confianza que toda la vida ha depositado en Dios y la madrecita del cielo. >Vidalia! As her name suggests, she is LIFE, and life is synonymous with joy, enthusiasm, and a zest for living. My mother is one of those people who brightens the lives of everyone around her. She is never upset or in a bad mood. I believe her main secret has been her faith and the trust she has placed in God and the Mother in Heaven throughout her life.  ¡Pues bien! Este fin de semana que pasó nos reunimos la familia y amigos que aquí en Caracas vivimos para cantarle ¡cumpleaños feliz! >Well, this past weekend, our family and friends who live here in Caracas got together to sing “Happy Birthday” to her!  Mi mamá es de las que le encanta que le celebren en grande su fecha natal, por eso siempre que viene a Caracas a pasar sus vacaciones nos preparamos con tiempo para hacerle algo bonito. >My mom is one of those people who loves to have her birthday celebrated in a big way, so whenever she comes to Caracas for vacation, we prepare ahead of time to do something nice for her.  Este año fue diferente a los años anteriores ya que nos fuimos a celebrar en piscina tipo campestre con hervido incluido y más. >This year was different from previous years because we went to celebrate at a country-style pool with a barbecue and more.  Ella cumplió el día sábado, así que ese día no podía pasar por debajo de la mesa, por eso organice algo sencillo en mi casa e invite algunos amigos del grupo de oración que la aprecian mucho y le dan cariño cada vez que ella nos visita. En ambos días la pasamos muy bien, muy alegres de vernos y reunirnos. >Her birthday was on Saturday, so that day couldn't go unnoticed. That's why I organized something simple at my house and invited some friends from the prayer group who appreciate her very much and show her affection every time she visits us. >We had a great time on both days, very happy to see each other and get together.   ¡Y que mas les puedo contar! Todos disfrutaron de la piscina mientras estaba el hervido que les cuento que quedo ¡Muy sabroso! Mis sobrinos Yenni y Carlos son los expertos en decoración nos regalaron un espacio maravilloso para disfrutar la comida y luego un set de flores y luces par picar la torta. >What else can I tell you! Everyone enjoyed the pool while the stew was cooking, which, I must say, turned out delicious! My niece and nephew, Yenni and Carlos, are experts in decoration. They gave us a wonderful space to enjoy the food and then a set of flowers and lights to cut the cake.  La reunión se extendió a eso de las 9n de la noche cuando recogimos todo y nos fuimos a casa inmensamente felices porque todo salió muy bonito. Ahora solo me queda la alegría en mi corazón de haberle hecho sentir a mi madre lo especial que es para nosotros. >The gathering lasted until around 9:00 p.m. when we cleaned up and went home immensely happy because everything turned out so beautifully. >Now I am left with the joy in my heart of having made my mother feel how special she is to us.   Y ella por supuesto no podía dejar de expresar lo feliz que estaba y lo agradecida que se sentía con Dios por ese bello regalo de vida. Haber visto a los sobrinos, haberse reencontrado con su amiga Justina, verse tan linda con su vestido lila y sentirse tan querida es algo que de seguro la hará feliz por mucho tiempo. >And she, of course, couldn't help but express how happy she was and how grateful she felt to God for that beautiful gift of life. Seeing her nephews and nieces, reuniting with her friend Justina, looking so pretty in her lilac dress, and feeling so loved is something that will surely make her happy for a long time to come.  --- # ******
