Esta publicación de hoy me transporta a unos años de mi juventud en que fui muy feliz. Yo vivía en Táchira, una población andina al occidente de Venezuela y cada año cuando llegaban las vacaciones mis hermanos mayores que Vivian en la ciudad de Caracas me mandaban a buscar para disfrutar la temporada con ellos. >Today's post takes me back to a few years of my youth when I was very happy. I lived in Táchira, an Andean town in western Venezuela, and every year when the holidays came around, my older siblings who lived in Caracas would send for me to enjoy the season with them.  Pues todo eso que viví lo recordé con mis sobrinos que vinieron este año de visita y solo puedo decirles que la pasamos increíblemente bien. >I remembered all those experiences with my nephews and nieces who came to visit this year, and I can only say that we had an incredible time.  La verdad es que desde hace un tiempo que mi familia no venia a visitarme como antes ya que la época de crisis que pasamos en el país no nos permitía viajar y aunque seguimos bastante afectados todavía pues ya hemos retomado muchas cosas que habíamos dejado en el olvido. >The truth is that my family hadn't come to visit me as often as they used to, since the crisis our country went through prevented us from traveling. Although we are still quite affected by it, we have now resumed many things that we had left behind.  Este 2025 mi sobrina Keila junto con su hijo Enrique y Diana vinieron de visita a Caracas y por supuesto no podían dejar de visitar a su querida tía Carolina. Yo encantada de recibirlos una semana y llevarlos de paseo por varios sitios de la ciudad que non conocían. >In 2025, my niece Keila, along with her son Enrique and Diana, came to visit Caracas, and of course they couldn't miss visiting their beloved Aunt Carolina. I was delighted to have them stay for a week and take them on a tour of various places in the city that they didn't know.  Caracas es muy bonita, tiene muchos sitios para el turismo, yo no perdí ni un solo minuto y apenas llegaron nos fuimos al parque de diversiones, al cine, otro día disfrutamos de las áreas verdes del parque del este, los llevé a conocer un lugar emblemático de la ciudad como lo es la Esfera de Caracas hecha por el artista Jesús Soto. >Caracas is very beautiful and has many tourist attractions. I didn't waste a single minute and as soon as they arrived we went to the amusement park and the cinema. Another day we enjoyed the green areas of the eastern park, and I took them to see one of the city's landmarks, the Esfera de Caracas, created by the artist Jesús Soto.  Me hubiese gustado entrar y conocer la antigua casa presidencial, ya que ahora es un museo para Caracas, pero lamentablemente estaba cerrado. También fuimos a la playa, esa siempre es la meta de todo andino que viene a Caracas ya que hacia el occidente del país no vemos el mar. >I would have liked to go inside and see the old presidential house, which is now a museum for Caracas, but unfortunately it was closed. >We also went to the beach, which is always the goal of every Andean who comes to Caracas, since we don't see the sea in the western part of the country.   La verdad es que yo me los disfrute al máximo, disfrutamos mucho, nos dimos ese cariño que solo la familia te puede dar. Me hubiese gustado tenerlos más tiempo conmigo, pero ellos debían visitar a otros familiares en la ciudad y luego retornar a Táchira. >The truth is that I enjoyed them to the fullest. We had a great time and shared the kind of affection that only family can give you. I would have liked to have them with me longer, but they had to visit other relatives in the city and then return to Táchira.    Una vez mas quedo agradecida con Dios, con la vida por haberme permitido pasar estas vacaciones con mi madre y mis sobrinos. Espero haberles regalado una semana placentera y que para siempre quede plasmado en su corazón estas vacaciones estudiantiles, así como lo hacía yo en mis tiempos de juventud. >Once again, I am grateful to God and to life for allowing me to spend this vacation with my mother and my nephews. I hope I gave them a pleasant week and that this student vacation will remain in their hearts forever, just as it did in my youth.     ---
