A rainy day. Yet another East Coast Low. The gurus have been telling us all about global warming. If they were right we would not have 4 or 5 ECLs before winter is over - maybe two. Kept busy on investing and affiliate marketing stuff - took the gap when a bit of blue appeared
Raindrops and mini azaleas to start the photo journey
An interesting tree trunk - hollowed out and rotting - and a new plant growing like it is a flower pot. An idea for the day's photos
An apartment for sale on the main road into the city
Hibiscus in mini form with raindrops
Not seen this flower before - mini trumpet in a subtle purple
A bit of Federation old style across the way
Next of the tree trunk form - new life at the bottom of an existing trunk
Took a side road not walked before - below Killara bowling club which backs onto the tennis club - quite a few sets going. Might look it up now we are stuck living here for 6 months
Magnolia form on a cottage opposite
Killara Anglican Church
View of the big stained glass windows
A view of the old style modernisations - render and add a storey
Looped back to Uniting Church - have walked this before from below
Not quite a tree trunk scene but a tree growing along a wall fits the theme
A few fall down houses still around - this one had evidence of being lived in - car in driveway (not shown)
Magnolia up high. Learned something today - pollinated by beetles - apparently they evolved before bees arrived
A touch of spring framing the old (left) and new (right)
Steps done - did not rain is a win. Bought wine and headed home.
No plans for dinner - my wife is sick again - we did the leftovers thing
