Hello, everyone, how's your day? Today I felt relaxed but also a little bored. I had nothing to do except some household chores. I was hoping for a last-minute class booking, but I didn't get one. It’s likely most of the students were celebrating Chinese New Year. So, I decided to buy something for dinner and prepare it earlier than usual.
I had to take this road before the main one going to market to buy something for dinner because there are no nearby vendors. On the way, I passed houses damaged by Typhoon Odette last December 2021; many were abandoned and hadn't been repaired. I had no idea why the owners hadn’t fixed them, perhaps - they preferred to live in the province? Whatever their reason, it was their choice.
The muddy roads, especially in the rain, made it difficult for me to go out, particularly given my foot injury. But sometimes we had to overcome challenges, even if it meant facing difficult situations, to prove our resilience. Falling down is inevitable, but getting back up is essential.
I walked the main road; it was a long way, but I enjoyed the walk despite the gloomy weather. I took a few pictures because I needed to be quick.
I arrived at the market. Before buying anything, I called my husband to ask him what he wanted. Then I waited and secretly took pictures of the meat.
After I finished buying what I need, I went straight home to start cooking. On my way home, I saw those dogs; it seemed like they were waiting for someone. Dogs are truly amazing; they're really considered man's best friend. It made me think of my father's dogs. They were always so happy when he came home from the farm or work. Sometimes, he would hug them, and dogs would lick him—their way of showing affection.
When I arrived home, I saw a barbecue vendor. That's the only option available here in the afternoons; there's no other choice for dinner when I'm too tired to cook. So, I made an effort to go to the market today to prepare delicious and affordable fresh food.
As I arrived home, I immediately began cooking so that I could start writing for you. And here it is, I hope you like this, and thank you again for reading up to the end.
Thank you so much and have a good day everyone.
Love; Thata
