It is with a heavy heart and mind that I'm writing this post. It's been brewing for a few weeks now, as can also be seen on the guessing game that has been running on InLeo

While it has been great fun to run the #cmduo guessing game, it has unfortunately come to an end, due to unforeseen changes, challenges and external factors. — @caspermoeller89

What's this about?

On May 28th 2025, I created the very first edition of the guessing game.

That's 4 months of somewhat consistent posting the game (there has been times where it hasn't been every day). There has been a little downtime for InLeo Premium which made it impossible for me to post, and then there has been a day or two where I simply forgot - and lastly, where I couldn't post due to the real life.

It has changed a bit since back then, but mostly it has remained the same and has been a somewhat success - especially in the beginning with people "signing up" for the tag list.

I'm sorry that I'll have to stop the game after the ongoing round.

Why it's stopping

While it has been great fun to run the #cmduo guessing game, it has unfortunately come to an end, due to unforeseen changes, challenges and external factors.

It's a sad thing, but also something I have to do in order to maintain (and take care of) myself. Some of you might know that I've been dealing with health issues for quite a while now. It's been going on for so long that I might even have gotten used to not really doing anything during my days.

Well, on Monday (a week from now, the 29th) I start some kind of program that will determine how much I can work during a week. I start at 9 hours a week - and in my head, this sounds absolutely like a big fat joke. I mean, previously my weeks were at 60 hours on the slow paced weeks. 80 if we had some proper work going on. It has been slowly decreasing in time, and I've ended up on a regular 37-40h per week.

But now, I start at 9 hours. *How?!

Anyway, all this have had some influence on my daily routines, but more importantly: on my income. Speaking straight, my income has dropped by 50% and I currently struggle on a daily basis. As fun as it has been to be running the daily guessing game, it adds to my todo-list, almost stressing me out - and I can imagine it will be even worse once I have to work - even if it's only 9 hours.

General impact & future

Of course, I'm hoping in time I can start the guessing game again, but for now, the ongoing round is the last one - and it also has an increased prize, along with a surprise package in the end.

As for the impact (and also future related), I'm very much hoping I can do more than 9 hours of work a week, but I've been told to really be critical of my health, and put it first, no matter what! Fair enough, I'll try that. Not saying I'll be good at it, but I need to try. Hopefully this change, starting to work again, will kickstart yet another good habit for me, kind of like my dopamine detox did, at least to an extend.

Conclusion

All in all, I believe this change will, in time, give me more energy. And man, do I need that! (That's a statement - I really do)
