Muy buenas noches, querida comunidad de Holozing! Espero que todos se encuentren muy bien en esta noche. Antes de comenzar, quiero extender un cálido saludo a todos los miembros de esta comunidad y también a @Acidyo, junto con los curadores y administradores que hacen posible este espacio artístico en el que podemos compartir y crecer juntos. Hoy les traigo una ilustración especial de uno de los dragones de Holozing, el juguetón Verdion. Cuando pensé en representar a este adorable amigo, imaginé a una criatura impaciente, llena de energía y siempre curiosa por explorar su entorno. Es de esas criaturas que nunca pueden quedarse quietas, pues todo a su alrededor despierta su interés y lo lleva a correr detrás de lo que llame su atención. Para capturar su esencia juguetona, decidí ilustrarlo en un estilo chibi, exagerando un poco su postura y expresiones para hacer más evidente su carácter inquieto y divertido. Fue un proceso realmente entretenido, y creo que logré transmitir esa sensación de movimiento y entusiasmo que caracteriza a Verdion. Además, me sentí especialmente cómoda trabajando con la paleta de colores verdes, pues es una gama que me gusta mucho usar en mis ilustraciones. Los tonos cálidos que seleccioné le dieron un aire acogedor, resaltando su energía vibrante. Espero que les guste mucho esta representación!. >Good evening, dear Holozing community! I hope everyone is feeling great tonight. Before I begin, I want to extend a warm greeting to all the members of this community and also to @Acidyo, along with the curators and administrators who make possible this artistic space where we can share and grow together. Today I bring you a special illustration of one of Holozing's dragons, the playful Verdion. When I thought of representing this adorable friend, I imagined an impatient creature, full of energy and always curious to explore his environment. He is one of those creatures that can never sit still, as everything around him piques his interest and leads him to run after whatever catches his attention. To capture his playful essence, I decided to illustrate him in a chibi style, exaggerating his posture and expressions a bit to make his restless and fun character more evident. It was a really entertaining process, and I think I managed to convey that sense of movement and enthusiasm that characterizes Verdion. Also, I felt especially comfortable working with the green color palette, as it's a range that I really like to use in my illustrations. The warm tones I selected gave it a cozy feel, highlighting its vibrant energy. Comencé con el boceto base, asegurándome de que la postura de Verdion reflejara diversión. Opté por una postura algo inclinada hacia adelante, con las patas traseras bien afirmadas y las delanteras estiradas, como si estuviera a punto de lanzarse en una carrera tras algún objeto interesante, como es nuestro pequeño escarabajo. Me aseguré de que sus ojos tuvieran una expresión de emoción y entusiasmo, con su boca alocadamente abierta y su lengua afuera que reflejara su espíritu juguetón. >I started with the base sketch, making sure Verdion's posture reflected fun. I opted for a somewhat forward-leaning pose, with his hind legs firmly planted and his front legs stretched out, as if he were about to launch himself into a race after some interesting object, such as our little beetle. I made sure his eyes had an expression of excitement and enthusiasm, with his mouth wildly open and his tongue out reflecting his playful spirit. ||| |---|---| |||| ||| |---|---| ||||

Luego, seleccioné los colores base asegurándome de que fueran tonalidades cálidas dentro de la gama de verdes. Jugué con la variación de los tonos para que la piel tuviera un efecto más variante. Usé tonos verdes vibrantes para las partes más expuestas a la luz y tonos más oscuros para generar volumen en las sombras. El siguiente paso fue definir los detalles del rostro, aquí me aseguré de que los ojos tuvieran profundidad y brillo, para que Verdion transmitiera esa energía que lo caracteriza. Agregué pequeñas sombras alrededor de su boca y mejillas, acentuando su expresión vivaz. >Next, I selected the base colors making sure they were warm shades within the green range. I played with the variation of the tones to give the skin a more varying effect. I used vibrant green tones for the parts most exposed to light and darker tones to generate volume in the shadows. The next step was to define the details of the face, here I made sure that the eyes had depth and brightness, so that Verdion would transmit that energy that characterizes him. Luego, trabajé en la textura de la piel, añadiendo pequeños efectos de luz y sombras para que tuviera más realismo y no se sintiera demasiado plana. Para el fondo opté por una composición sencilla que no restara protagonismo a Verdion. Utilicé degradados suaves para darle un ambiente cálido, asegurándome de que se integrara bien con el personaje. Revisé cada detalle, asegurándome de que los colores y sombras estuvieran bien equilibrados y vibrantes con métodos de mezcla. Ajusté algunas transiciones de color para que la imagen se sintiera más armoniosa y cuidé los últimos retoques de iluminación. >Then, I worked on the texture of the skin, adding small light and shadow effects to make it more realistic and not feel too flat. For the background I opted for a simple composition that didn't detract from Verdion's prominence. I used soft gradients to give it a warm atmosphere, making sure it integrated well with the character. I went over every detail, making sure the colors and shadows were well balanced and vibrant with blending methods. I adjusted some color transitions to make the image feel more harmonious and took care of the final lighting touches. ||| |---|---| ||||

Me encantó trabajar en Verdion en esta representación y darle ese aire travieso y curioso que lo caracteriza. Además, trabajar con tonos verdes fue especialmente cómodo para mí, pues es una de las gamas con las que más disfruto ilustrar.
