Greetings, friends! This September, our wonderful #Ladies of Hive community is celebrating its **Fifth Anniversary**, and I am particularly proud to belong to the team of female voices on Hive, where gentlemen are also welcome and always participate. This is an inclusive space for everyone from all corners of the platform. In my case, I have been with the Hive for two years now, and the same amount of time has passed in terms of growth, in which many women, with the topics developed in each contest and their reflections, as I have expressed in other writings, capture their knowledge and lived experiences in those words. We are more than a blog: we are a community where we have been learning about self-esteem, facing life's problems, and much more.

A gift of self-esteem

We often only hear or read about self-esteem. The information is undoubtedly important, but I believe that we rarely put it into practice, as it requires daily effort despite the difficulties, so we need to work on ourselves, on our inner selves. It is not surprising that we sometimes have difficulties with self-esteem, because when we express our perceptions, we are told that we do not understand reality. When we put our values first, we are reproached for not understanding the way the world works. So my self-esteem is constantly under attack, but it is truly mine when I get to its essence. I have to stop thinking ‘if only I had been’, because we will not achieve change overnight.

I can always try to get closer to people who give me good vibes

I believe that as content creators, we have learned that we can even view this community as one of those spaces of inspiration that can greatly assist us in reorganising our ideas, values, meditation, and personal growth. In particular, I enjoy reading and searching the internet for things that nourish me, and it has truly given me a great deal of satisfaction. I can always try to get closer to people who give me good vibes, as well as learn to boost my self-esteem, for example, by changing the limiting beliefs we have about ourselves, switching to “proactive” language, accepting that we are a combination of virtues and flaws, understanding that perfection does not exist, cancelling out the “ideal self” and loving the “real self”. 

Begin the process that comes from within us

It is up to us as individuals to find our focus, because in these topics and reflections, we are simply suggesting and guiding, and each person takes what suits them best. So writing and reading are undoubtedly very good, because reading educates us and helps us expand our vocabulary. Walking through life like a beautiful lady and solving problems as they arise, being grateful for the good things and even if I am not satisfied with what I cannot change, accepting my dark side and my positive side, trying to push away the bad so that the good comes closer to me, with respect for myself and others, seeing each person as valuable and worthy of love. I think that the best gift on this fifth anniversary of #DamasdelaColmena, and every day of the year, will be the one we give ourselves: loving ourselves as we love the most precious thing God could have left on the face of the earth, because we cannot and should not expect someone from outside to show us how valuable we are, but we can and must begin the process that comes from within, which allows us to love ourselves and others. My gratitude goes out to each and every one of the people who make up this beautiful community, who are here to support and encourage each other and learn from one another, and may there be many more years to celebrate together. Saludos amigos, en este mes de Septiembre nuestra maravillosa comunidad de #LadiesofHive está arribando a su **Aniversario #5** y particularmente me siento orgullosa de pertenecer al equipo de voces femeninas en Hive, donde por cierto también participan los caballeros y son siempre bienvenidos. Este es un espacio inclusivo para todas las personas de todos los rincones de la plataforma. En mi caso, ya tengo dos años en la Colmena y los mismos que atrás han quedado de crecimiento, en el que muchas mujeres con los temas desarrollados en cada concurso, con las reflexiones, como lo he expresado en otros escritos, plasman en esas letras su conocimiento y experiencias vividas, somos más que un blog: somos una comunidad donde hemos ido aprendido sobre autoestima, a enfrentar problemas de la vida y mucho más.

Un regalo de Autoestima

Muchas veces sólo escuchamos o leemos sobre la autoestima, sin duda la información es importante, pero yo creo que muy pocas veces la ponemos en práctica, ya que requiere un esfuerzo diario a pesar de las dificultades, así que es necesario trabajar en nosotras, en nuestro interior. No es de extrañar que a veces tengamos dificultades con la autoestima, pues cuando manifestamos nuestras percepciones, se nos dice que no entendemos la realidad. Cuando ponemos por delante nuestros valores, se nos reprocha que no entendemos la manera en que funciona el mundo. Así que mi autoestima es constantemente atacada, pero es realmente mía cuando llego a su esencia. Dejando de pensar “si yo hubiera sido”, porque de la noche a la mañana no lograremos un cambio, la vida es de paso a paso, día a día y eso no puedo olvidarlo.

Siempre puedo intentar acercarme a las personas que me aportan buenas vibraciones

Creo que como creadores de contenidos, hemos aprendido que esta comunidad incluso la podemos tomar como uno de esos espacios de inspiración, que pueden ayudarme mucho en reorganizar nuestras ideas, los valores, la meditación y el crecimiento personal. En particular, me gusta leer y buscar en internet cosas que me nutran y la verdad que me ha dado mucha satisfacción. Siempre puedo intentar acercarme a las personas que me aportan buenas vibraciones, así como aprender a reforzar la autoestima, por ejemplo, modificar las creencias limitantes que tenemos sobre nosotras mismas, cambiando el lenguaje por uno “proactivo”, aceptando que somos un conjunto de virtudes y defectos, entendiendo que la perfección no existe, anulando al "yo ideal" y amando al "yo real". 

Iniciar el proceso que viene de nuestro interior

Está en nosotras como personas, buscar el enfoque, porque en los temas y reflexiones lo que hacemos es sugerir, orientar y cada quien toma lo que mejor se le acomode, así que escribir y leer es muy bueno, no hay duda, porque la lectura nos instruye, nos ayuda a ampliar nuestro vocabulario. Caminar por la vida como una bella dama e ir solucionando los problemas a medida que lleguen, agradecer por las cosas buenas e incluso si no me siento satisfecha con lo que no puedo cambiar, aceptando mi lado oscuro y mi lado positivo, intentando alejar lo malo, para que lo bueno se me acerque, con el respeto por mí mismo y por los demás, viendo a cada persona valiosa y digna de amor. Pienso que el mejor regalo en este quinto Aniversario de #DamasdelaColmena y de todos los días del año, será el que nos demos así mismas: amándonos como se ama lo más precioso que Dios haya podido dejar sobre la faz de la tierra, pues no podemos ni debemos esperar que alguien desde afuera nos demuestre qué tan valiosas somos, pero si podemos y debemos iniciar el proceso que viene de nuestro interior, que nos permite amarnos y amar a otros. Mi reconocimiento a cada una de las personas que hacen vida en esta hermosa comunidad, que estamos aquí para apoyarnos, animarnos y aprender unos de otros y que sean muchos años más para celebrar juntos.
