Learning With No Limits (My Previous Company Journey)

Hi everyone today I will be sharing to you my past job. This work was supposed to be for the men but when the owner offer me this kind of work, I grabbed it right away cause for me it was another challenge given. Another task to prove that women has so much to do not only the household chores. I was so lucky enough that they trusted my potential and capability because honestly this job is somewhat like being an engineer and I'm not.    The transition from being a Warehouse and Purchasing Head of the construction firm to Operation Supervisor at Quarry site was indeed interesting and at the same time formidable. Yes, both position I acquired were from the same company. At first, when they hired me my position was Warehouse staff. After 5 months, they endorsed me to higher position and that was Warehouse and Purchasing head. It was fast and it amazed me. The learning won't stop this time because they sent us to different training that hasten our abilities and skills. Until such time, they were in need of Operation Supervisor in a Quarry site near my home town. They called a meeting and then boom the management chose me to handle the job and assured me with salary increase and more benefits. It made me think for about one day to accept the offer or not. It's not that I doubt myself but I thought that someone was more deserving than me. After a day, I told my self who am I to reject the offer. I must be proud of myself for reaching that far. As what they said that before anyone else trust you, you have to trust yourself first and I did. I talked to the owner and finally accepted it.      Honestly, I found it hard for more than 2 weeks and as days go by I was into it. Adaptation was not fast but slowly I learned. I proved to them that their trust were not put into waste. I strived hard for the betterment of the company. I did my best and its all worth the sweat and tears. With regards to supervision of employees, well for me its not hard since I had experienced already. What makes it hard? It's the process like you need to be focused and studious. In quarrying where you need to extract rocks, sand and gravel and process them for future use of the buildings, roads and houses, that processed itself was not easy. Gladly, my team worked so hard to achieve the best result. I was awarded as Best Employee of the year. Sorry I don't have picture with my certificate and I lost it due to some inevitable event but the moment I received the award there was sense of satisfaction and I can say that I grow as a team leader and a good employee. Lastly, year 2021 I resigned due to some reason. I left the company with a heavy heart because it's the first company I was working and I can feel that they put so much trust in me. The knowledge they imparted, the support they gave and the non-stop learning of life lessons are all cherished until now. I am so happy until now to see how successful they are.
