My Precious Gift (Anthon's story-eldest son)

Hi. It's me again @cbaguio1991. I am here to post another story of my journey in motherhood. If you are able to read my first story, thank you so much for taking the time to venture into my motherhood trip with my special baby, my second born. Now it's time to tell everyone my voyage with my first born. He is Kurt Anthon but we call him Anthon as his nickname.      Kurt Anthon is now 12 years old but before that I want to share my pregnancy moments. I got pregnant at the age of 20 but this time my boyfriend rejected me after knowing I bear our child. My world stopped like I wanted to abort our baby after the rejection. I really don't know who can help me in this arduous time cause I hid it with my parents and friends. No one knew about it except me and his father. I trust no one only him and in return I received refusal. I didn’t have any choice, raising him alone was my only option. The most difficult this time was how to tell my parents that I got pregnant, I know it was embarrassing for they did not expect that to happen. Honestly, they expect too much from me but fate turned differently. My abdomen got bigger and bigger but they did not notice it until it reached 6 month and half. My aunt noticed it first and confronted my sister about it. They knew I hid something but the moment they asked me, tears burst. It’s like telling them that I needed someone to lean on but I don’t know where to go. They comforted me and promised me that I am not alone. I was lucky enough to have parents and families like them who always understand. I never heard any negative feedbacks from them for they knew also that to got pregnant was so much stressful. Fast forward, June 13, 2013, I gave birth to the most precious one my first born, Kurt Anthon Baguio. I was surrounded by the loved of family and I believed that even in storms, rainbows appear. They love Anthon so much and I can feel it too. When Anthon turned 1 his biological father contacted me. I didn’t know where did he get my number. He said sorry for being so coward and for rejecting us. I was like “okey, I forgive you” I did not feel the pain much maybe because I told myself to become strong since I will be venturing into the next step – becoming a mother. – He even told me to be together since we had a baby already but I said no. I told him that in order to live together there must be love which I no longer felt. I told him sorry you are Anthon’s biological father but not an ideal one. So, he left . After 2 years of raising him alone, I met my old friend who is now my partner and a person who stand as Anthon’s father up to now. I am indeed blessed and I am full of gratitude for all of these. Anthon now has a complete family. Sometimes there are individual who bully him telling it’s not your true father but I explain I to him to never listen and he does. It may not be by blood but by heart they are father and son.    Right now, I am so happy of how Anthon become a man. He is truly a responsible son and brother. We pour our love to him. He is so precious. He grow up to be an achiever in school from pre- school and until now. He is now in Grade- 7 and continue to make us proud. Continue to soar high our “KUYA” -mama , papa and Mehir are so proud of you. Soon, all your “I hope Lord” will become “Thank you, Lord.” Just continue dreaming and please don’t change.
