Hi everyone, excited for another story to share? Well, today I am sharing you our first tree planting activity with the company I worked. This happened 8 years ago and I'm so thankful for this platform for it allows me to check previous pictures of mine and make a story about it. As what they say "Old but gold".

By the way before starting, I will introduce myself first, I am cbaguio1991, new to this and very excited to share daily life stories and old memories. So now, be with me as I drive you up to this very wonderful place where our tree planting activity happened. This is old but I still remember the feeling of excitement and satisfaction as nature feeds my soul.

Since I worked in a quarry if you remember I made a story about this days ago, we the company was obliged to plant trees as a replacement for the cut ones. It was a mountain quarry so many trees will be cut off during operations. I know cutting of trees or deforestation is not good but we had permit to do it for certain purpose. Our permits were from the government of Cebu Province. One of the requirements to get the permit is the tree planting activity. We had to comply so we can operate legally. So our boss told us to be prepared for the activity for they wanted to do it on Sunday, supposedly no work for us. When I asked him, where it take place, he told me in Cantipla- this word is new to me that made me think if it was a nice one or not. I was a little confused yet excited.
Fast forward, it was Sunday and we're all ready. Our boss- the owner of the company suggested that he was the one to drive us going to the place for nobody knew where it was except him. We passed by green mountains, forests and to be honest the roads going there was somewhat scarry but we enjoyed the travel until we reached to the place. I was amazed how beautiful it was and the people there were hospitable. Since it's not road side, we needed to walk for about 200 meters to finally reached there. We passed by rivers, small farms and big rocks. It was indeed nature here. Since I am a nature lover, I enjoyed the whole day activity there. From roasting seafoods to eating to planting and so much more. I was fascinated by how this secret place remained fantastic. I felt like it was not just a tree planting activity but an unwinding activity from a very stressful week from work. I was so relaxed like my whole body and soul. I was not expecting to reach the place but being there was one of the nicest experience I had so far.

Lastly, it was already 4 in the afternoon when we left. I was sad and told myself to be back someday to check if trees grew but not able to push through. Lucky enough to witness the beauty of nature. If given the chance now, I want and eager to be back. If not now maybe soon. Hoping!
If you are happy enough to read my short story please take time to comment, up vote, re-blog and follow me.
Excited to write more.
