Here are our selected works from that content for the week of December 8 to 14.

**The painting of** @kouhei-gahaku

One can only wonder what or how a "Dialogue between shadows" would be like. This is the aptly titled artwork by @kouhei-gahaku. In a video uploaded by the artist, we gain special access to the process behind the painting. The video itself an artwork, we as the viewer see the layers of artworks that lie underneath the eventual artwork we are currently viewing. Two abstract figures are playing chess; we see two hands, one beside the chessboard, one hidden in the upper right corner. Who will make the next move, we wonder? What is at stake? The conversation between the shadows carries on as a metaphorical chess game.

**The music of** @danieldedosd2

@danieldedosd2 nos comparte "Canción de Navidad" una pieza musical del maestro Silvio Rodríguez, en el post encontramos una bonita reflexión y explicación del significado de la letra de la canción. La interpretación en la guitarra es bastante emotiva y las notas musicales suenan bastante claras, bien definidas. Algunos de los acordes utilizados son C, G, Am, F y Em, tocados con arpegios, algo bastante característicos de las canciones de Silvio.

**The conceptual art of** @barbarabezina

The post Luz nueva by @barbarabezina can be seen as a conceptual art piece composed of two elements: a prose poem followed by a series of five photographs. The poem and photographs themselves contain the narrative of a 'diaphanous shape,' represented in the photos by @barbarabezina herself. The piece as a whole shows us the awakening of new awareness and the leap one takes into a newly realized world 'full of lamps with Djinns that fulfill all wishes.'

**The poetry of** @tomasjurado

"EL BURRO ENVIDIOSO" es una fábula escrita en octosílabos; con versos sencillos y su respectivo toque de humor; en ellos, el autor describe la visión maquiavélica de la amistad del burro por el pavo, a quien finalmente convence para que cambien de rol, sin saber que la suerte le seguiría sonriendo al pavo y el destino le tenía preparado un trágico final. Una fábula que lleva implícita su lección edificante.

**The painting of** @mohanraj

The early work of the impressionists focused on light and nature sceneries. How did light reflect from water? How can we capture this on the canvas? Furthermore, how can we capture this to unlock nostalgic memories in the viewer? In his artwork, titled "Reflection study," @mohanraj provides us with an artwork that reminds us of these earlier impressionist artworks. Not as abstract as say a Turner but with the expert touch of Monet’s color vision, @mohanraj's reflections on the water are the main focus. In the distance, we see the rural setting of tropical nature. The nostalgic feeling of impressionist paintings as well as the focus on light reflecting from surfaces is excellently presented through the artwork. We can almost feel the water’s movement and the afternoon sun lazily shining on the lake.
