My daughters are feeling safe when I am on their side. They stayed with me since Friday night and went home Sunday night to their mother for the morning preparation for school. I picked them and drive them to school and back in the afternoon. That's how we deal for the parenting status of the children.
Last Saturday I removed the tooth of my eldest daughter and we had an ice cream cooling from my mother. She gave us money. Then, yesterday we went to the sea side after our lunch before I sent them back to their mother. That's the routine everyday, every weekend and I looked for money by driving the pedicab when I got home from school.
They were curiously watching the waves in the sea wall. They asked many questions and my eldest always answer her younger sister. They are so close to each other and I like the way they show love and respect.,
The beautiful smile of my youngest melt my heart. She asked me why I didn't come home anymore. And even she said no need to answer that Tatay, I will pray to God someday.
*I cried deep inside of me. This is not my dream for my kids. I dreamed a happy together family but this is happening to us. I grew up away from my mother and just sometimes she came home and more on this time we faces many trials around the family circle. Hard to explain but this is it!
I still believe God is always here with us. His plans is the best for us all. Keep believing one day we will see the best version of us.
