I found different variations of the Dara Knot and decided to paint that one. They all have a specific structure in common - that interwoven knot divided into 4 symmetrical pieces. This knot symbolises strength as well as the root system of a tree and it is assigned to the oak tree. For the trees were sacred to the Celts.
