Cecilia Dietrich - Let go with the wind, Oil on 12x30cm Wood, Mar 2021
This is the 4th painting in the series of the 4 elements and seasons that I painted two years ago. It represents the season fall and the element air. This time is all about harvesting what we previously sowed, a time of expansion and letting go, clearing out all that is no longer serving us in order to create space for the new to come in spring. Like the plants that bear their last fruits and then loose all their leaves and slowly turn inwards to rest as well as replenish in winter. The mystery is also more present and the veil to other dimensions more lifted - overall this time in the year feels quite magical to me. That's why I painted it that colourful.
