Julio ya se fue, y no te puedo decir que pasó rápido, porque cada segundo viviendo en la realidad cubana es un preguntarse cuando termina esto. Cuando se acabarán los apagones, cuando podré salir de mi casa tranquila, sin la preocupación de que me pueden robar o la comida echarse a perder.

Aun así, siempre suceden cosas buenas, y sé que soy una persona privilegiada dentro de todo esto. Puedo irme de vacaciones y despejar, aunque sea por unos días, me dedico a crear y hacer las cosas que me gustan. Tengo a mi familia sana y con muchos sueños y proyectos juntos que hacen que me mueva cada día con ilusión.

Me despido de este mes con una mezcla extraña de emociones, queriendo que el tiempo pase rápido, sabiendo que debo disfrutar y aprovechar el presente, porque aunque no sea del todo de mi agrado, es lo único que tengo.

July is gone, and I can't tell you that it went by fast, because every second living in the Cuban reality is a question of when this will end. When the blackouts will be over, when I will be able to leave my house without worrying about being robbed or my food spoiling.

Still, good things always happen, and I know that I am a privileged person in all of this. I get to go on vacation and unwind, even if it's just for a few days, I get to create and do the things I love. I have my family healthy and with many dreams and projects together that make me move every day with enthusiasm.

I say goodbye to this month with a strange mix of emotions, wanting time to pass quickly, knowing that I must enjoy and take advantage of the present, because although it is not entirely to my liking, it is the only thing I have.
