Normally, every night I take the time and dedication to prepare a beautiful post for you. But last night it was impossible, between the 12-hour power outage, the heat, and the mosquitoes that seemed like cannibals, it was impossible to find inspiration, let alone charge my laptop. I take my hat off to the content creators in Cuba who find inspiration in such conditions.

But this morning I remembered that I had these photos edited from a while ago and decided to bring them to you to lift everyone's spirits a little. Their colors bring life and joy, and their scent is so delicious. According to my research, they have several names: Cinco negritos, Lantana camara, and Bandera española. That last name reminds me of my Spanish great-grandfather's roots.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did when I took this photo shoot. And may they serve as a little inspiration in the face of life's obstacles. Noche desastrosa

Normalmente, cada noche les con tiempo y dedicación les preparo un post hermoso. Pero anoche fue imposible, entre el apagón de 12 horas, el calor y los mosquitos que parecían caníbales, así imposible encontrar inspiración y menos carga para la laptop. Me quito el sombrero ante los creadores de contenido de Cuba que encuentran inspiración ante esas condiciones.

Pero esta mañana recordé que tenía estas fotos editadas de hace un tiempo y decidí traérselas para levantarnos un poquito la alegría a todos. Sus colores te dan vida y alegría y su olor es tan delicioso. Según investigué, tiene varios nombres: Cinco negritos, Lantana camara y Bandera española. Ese último nombre recordándome mis raíces de mi bisabuelo español.

Espero que la disfruten tanto como yo en el momento en que hice esta sesión. Y que les sirva un poquito de inspiración ante los obstáculos de la vida. Una mala noche no paró mis ganas de compartirles algo bonito, aunque casi lo logra, he, he, he😅.
