Que tal, Music Zone. El reggae como género tiene una gran cantidad de exponentes, entre ellos el más grande de todos “Bob Marley”, llegaron a crear los mejores sonidos de este estilo, pero existe una de estas bandas que con los años se convirtió en una de mis favoritas, “Los Cafres” una banda fundamental y pionera del reggae roots en español, formada en Buenos Aires, Argentina, en 1987. Liderados por la distintiva voz de “Guillermo Bonetto”, fueron de los primeros en adoptar el sonido y la filosofía del reggae jamaiquino y cantarlo en su propio idioma, con una impronta lírica profunda y poética. Con canciones realmente inspiradoras y magníficas, nos ha llenado de una gran cantidad de sensaciones, asi como su tema "Si el amor se cae" uno de los temas más emblemáticos de Los Cafres. Fue lanzado originalmente en 2004 en su álbum “¿Quien Dijo?" (y regrabado posteriormente para la celebración de sus 25 años) y encapsula perfectamente la esencia de la banda. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes este hermoso tema de esta banda con un cover de bajo.
Hey there, Music Zone. Reggae as a genre has a lot of big names, including the greatest of them all, Bob Marley. They created some of the best sounds in this style, but there's one band that over the years has become one of my favorites: Los Cafres, a key band and pioneer of Spanish-language roots reggae, formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1987. Led by the distinctive voice of Guillermo Bonetto, they were among the first to adopt the sound and philosophy of Jamaican reggae and sing it in their own language, with a deep and poetic lyrical style. With truly inspiring and magnificent songs, they have filled us with a wealth of emotions, such as their song “Si el amor se cae,” one of Los Cafres' most emblematic songs. It was originally released in 2004 on their album “¿Quien Dijo?” (and later re-recorded for their 25th anniversary celebration) and perfectly encapsulates the essence of the band. Today I want to share with you this beautiful song by this band with a bass cover.
