San Luis Beach in Cumaná, Sucre State, Venezuela, becomes a particularly evocative and personal setting on a rainy day, especially when the visit begins with a leisurely stroll along Avenida Universidad. This combination of natural and urban elements creates a unique and memorable experience.

The initial journey along Avenida Universidad is not only a means to reach the destination, but an integral part of the experience. The avenue, known for being a vital artery of Cumaná, takes on a different hue in the rain. Traffic can slow down, and the sound of the drops hitting the surfaces mixes with the sea breeze that is already beginning to be felt. I did not take pictures of the avenue for my safety, the traffic is usually unpredictable.
