Hi beautiful Fam of @worldmappin!👋 I hope you are all doing great!
Today, I’ll be taking you on another quick escape in Munich. This was the day my boyfriend drove me to the airport before my flight back to the Philippines.

Before we went our separate ways, we decided to explore Marienplatz — the central square in the heart of Munich and one of its most famous landmarks. It was super cold that day, the cold air brushed against our skin as we walked. We parked the car and charged it at the same time, then strolled for a few minutes toward Marienplatz.

We stopped by a souvenir shop to look for something I could bring home. I took photos of the famous attractions, including the Neues Rathaus, a Gothic-style city hall with a tall clock tower, and the Altes Rathaus, the old town hall. There’s also a nearby market that’s just a short walk away. We saw salami, ice cream, fruit shake and a lot more. We even saw a chocolate house so we went inside and bought few chocolates from Switzerland.

People were enjoying street performances, and there was so much to see — malls, souvenir shops, and restaurants. I think almost everyone stops by here before heading to the airport. It’s definitely a place you shouldn’t miss.

Speaking of restaurants, we also visited one of the city’s most famous and historic beer halls called Augustiner Stammhaus. 🍺 It offers a Bavarian experience — authentic, lively, and less touristy than other spots. This was a huge restaurant and they also had big serving of food. The portions were huge, enough to make me full. I actually couldn’t finish my food because it was too much for me, but it all tasted really good.

Before we headed to the airport, my boyfriend decided to stop by the Allianz Arena, where the football matches are held. We went inside, and I saw the huge football field, the museum, and a store selling their merchandise. He was so sweet to let me see this and even said we’ll come back next time to watch a game.

After this, I started getting emotional because I knew I’d be catching my flight in just a few hours. We had the best time together. Both of us got emotional, but I know we’ll be together again soon. This moment was tough, but we just put our trust and love in each other.
As my trip came to an end, I felt this mixed emotions and also grateful for the incredible experiences, the delicious food, and the unforgettable moments we shared. Though saying goodbye is never easy. I calm myself knowing that distance can’t erase the memories we’ve made or the love we share. I can’t wait for our next adventure together.
So that's all for today's story dear hivers! 😊
Until the Next Adventure! Cessa 💗
