A coffee, Halloween, and a horror story [Eng-Esp]

Greetings, coffee lovers! Today I'd like to share a special Halloween coffee edition with you. Join me and I'll tell you a little bit about it. It had been a long time since I last visited the Premium room at Cines Unidos in the city of San Cristóbal. Lately, going to the movies isn't very popular, since we now have the convenience of watching the best films from home. But personally, I love the idea of the giant screen and the extreme sound. I went to the cinema to ask about family options, as I want to take my 5-year-old daughter and enjoy this wonderful experience. After getting the information, I headed to the Premium theater, and although there were no shows scheduled, they were still selling candy and, of course, coffee.  I went into the bathroom and it was like traveling back in time 20 years, when I used to go with my sisters and my mom to enjoy the big screen. Black and white photographs of classic actors and actresses lined the hallway, and the counter was decorated for Halloween.  I ordered a coffee and sat down to enjoy my frothy vanilla latte when I remembered my childhood and my trauma with this Halloween date, which is not celebrated in my country, Venezuela, but lately is gaining momentum for businesses and for taking advantage of and showing off a costume. I remember I was about 7 years old, standing on a corner with my dad waiting for one of those caravans to pass by and give us candy, when a masked man appeared. His mask was so scary that I was paralyzed.  The kids not only had these demon masks, but they also had containers of flour and threw flour at all the spectators.  What was a joke to them was a horrible experience for a 7-year-old girl, one that left a lasting impression. That's why I don't like masks. Luckily, my coffee was delicious, and rather than being scary, it was a snack that I really enjoyed.  Thank you for joining me. See you next time. Bye!

Saludos amigos amantes del café! En esta oportunidad me gustaría compartir la edición especial de un café en Halloween. Acompáñenme y les cuento un poco.  Hcae mucho tiempo que no visitaba la sala Premium de Cines unidos en la ciudad de San Cristóbal. El cine últimamente no es tendencia ya que ahora tenemos la facilidad de ver las mejores películas desde casa. Pero personalmente amo la idea de la pantalla gigante y el sonido extremo. Fui al cine para preguntar las opciones familiares, quiero llevar a mi hija de 5 años y disfrutar de esta maravillosa experiencia. Después de tener la información me dirigí a la sala Premium y aunque no estaban en horario de ninguna función seguían vendiendo dulces y por supuesto café.  Entré al baño y fue como viajar en el tiempo 20 años atrás cuando iba von mis hermanas y mi mamá a disfrutar de la pantalla grande. Las fotografías en blanco y negro de los actores y actrices de siempre por todo el pasillo, el mostrador todo con decoración de Halloween.  Pedí un café y me senté a disfrutar de mi espumoso Latte de vainilla cuando recordé mi infancia y mi trauma con esta fecha de Halloween, que en mi país Venezuela no se celebra, pero últimamente está tomando fuerza para los comercios y para aprovechar y lucir un disfraz.  Recuerdo que tenía unos 7 años, estaba con mi papá en una esquina esperando que pasara una de esas caravanas y me dieran dulces, cuando apareció un enmasca. Su mascara era tan aterradora que me quedé paralizada. Los chicos no solo tenían estas mascaras de demonios, también tenían unos recipientes con harina y lanzaban harina a todos los espectadores. Lo que para ellos eranbromas para una niña de 7 años fue una experiencia horrible que quedó marcada para siempre. Por eso no me gustan las máscaras. Menos mal que mi café estaba delicioso y más que aterrador gue una merienda que disfruté mucho. Gracias por acompañarme. Nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad. Chao!
