Southern Urals, Bashkiria, the city of Zilair. Once upon a time, in 1748-1750, a copper smelter was built here. Now only the walls remain, which in itself is surprising, because the plant has not been operating since the early 1900s. During its operation, the production changed many owners, there were fires and floods, but the building still survives. And even though there is nothing special to look at here, no beautiful views or remains of any old equipment, you are still amazed that the building has survived and not collapsed for more than a century.
