Saludos, amigos de la comunidad @holos-lotus, de regreso con una nueva entrega de la iniciativa №36 de **Esa vida nuestra**, a la cual he llamado en esta oportunidad, "La naturaleza del viaje". # ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmTdKTqHeXWRyY444gV8QxMDPcCYcquXZaswi2hybT27Lf/1757457631067.jpg) # La vida es un recorrido que realizamos con o sin maletas; vamos con nuestras emociones, pensamientos y sueños, avanzando en las metas que nos hayamos propuesto, pero también realizamos un viaje físico que nos va construyendo a medida que transitamos cada camino. No somos los mismos luego de avanzar cada tramo del sendero del tipo que sea: cambiamos. Indudablemente, a través de ese recorrido que vamos haciendo, nos vamos transformando, física y emocionalmente. El niño vulnerable, que lloraba por todo, se convierte en un adulto fuerte que enfrenta las vicisitudes con determinación. Vamos quemando etapas, adquiriendo conocimientos y nuevos compromisos, dejando atrás lo que no aporta nada al presente, y en todo ese devenir es normal que se noten los cambios, que hablan de un recorrido placentero o traumático. De la manera que sea, ha dejado sus huellas para nuestro aprendizaje. Hay viajes interrumpidos, otros sin rumbo fijo y otros rigurosamente establecidos con meticulosa preparación. Hay personas que parecieran tener u un destino marcado; lo comienzan a transitar con buen pie, van preparándose para el futuro, mientras que otros van dando tumbos y llegan a la madurez de su vida sin estar totalmente conscientes de sus propias responsabilidades. La naturaleza del viaje intenta mostrar esos aciertos y desaciertos que terminan por configurar al ser humano que se es, gracias a todo lo que se ha vivido. Desde el punto de vista de las emociones, también hacemos recorridos que nos van marcando hitos, atravesamos duelos, resolvemos situaciones, adquirimos compromisos, los soltamos, asumimos emprendimientos; todo ello nos ayuda a reconocernos a nosotros mismos y nuestra propia valía, hasta que finalmente podemos decir que nos hemos movido de esas primeras facetas que conformaban nuestro carácter a lo que hoy somos y estamos si o no orgullosos con ellos o seguimos en una búsqueda. Particularmente, me gusta denominarme aprendiz permanente; siempre estoy haciendo algo que nutra mi intelecto y espíritu. Nací en Caracas, pero nunca desarrollé afecto alguno por esa "selva de cemento". Cuando tenía siete años, mis padres se mudaron a Maracay, donde hice mis estudios de primaria, secundaria y universitaria. Mi manera de ser fue moldeándose con los estudios; la timidez creada por la crianza y escuela primaria fue quedando atrás y al ser docente y con la cantidad de oportunidades para hablar en público aminoró el miedo escénico. En la actualidad, quiero profundizar en el estudio del idioma inglés, para lo cual tengo de aliada a una de mis hijas, quien ejerce en la enseñanza de este idioma. We are not the same after advancing each section of the path, whatever its type: we change. Undoubtedly, through this journey we take, we are transformed, physically and emotionally. The vulnerable child, who cried about everything, becomes a strong adult who faces difficulties with determination. We move through stages, acquiring knowledge and new commitments, leaving behind what contributes nothing to the present, and in all this evolution, it's normal to notice changes, which speak of a pleasant or traumatic journey. However it may be, it has left its mark on our learning. There are journeys interrupted, others without a fixed course, and others rigorously established with meticulous preparation. There are people who seem to have a defined destiny; they begin to navigate it on the right foot, preparing for the future, while others stumble and reach maturity without being fully aware of their own responsibilities. The nature of the journey attempts to show those successes and failures that ultimately shape the human being we are, thanks to everything we have experienced. From an emotional perspective, we also take journeys that mark milestones. We go through grief, resolve situations, make commitments, let go of them, and take on new ventures. All of this helps us recognize ourselves and our own worth, until we can finally say that we've moved from those early facets that shaped our character to who we are today, and we're either proud of them or still searching. Personally, I like to call myself a lifelong learner; I'm always doing something that nourishes my intellect and spirit. I was born in Caracas, but I never developed any affection for that "concrete jungle." When I was seven, my parents moved to Maracay, where I attended elementary, secondary, and university. My personality was shaped by my studies; the shyness I'd developed through my upbringing and elementary school was left behind, and becoming a teacher and having numerous opportunities to speak in public lessened my stage fright.
