If the world was ending, would you come over? Would you stay with me? In this world full of uncertainty, would you be the one certain thing?

So, Google Photos reminded me that this time last year (Oct 2020), in the middle of what was then a 6-month old pandemic, I did a cover of this timely song from JP Saxe and Julia Michaels. I originally posted this on Instagram as an Instagram Story (silently hoping that my intended recipient will get to listen to this and understand that this cover was FOR him 🙂). Anyway, that chapter ended months ago, though. So... 😅
BUT ANYWAY. Hahaha!
Seriously. I sincerely hope that it isn't the end of the world yet. It's sad that this pandemic has taken a lot of lives already. Honestly, I still am unable to talk about the loss that I personally experienced the past year alone, and I'm sure most (if not all) of us still grieve...in our own ways. And these are valid ways.
But for all of us who have been trying to survive, I hope that we all find that person (or those people) who will stay with us and survive with us despite everything. I wish that we will all be able to see this pandemic through...in one way or another.
And, if the world will indeed be ending, then, I hope there is at least one person will come over (if they are not with you already) and then stay the night...and if possible, forever. :)
