Hive Open Mic Week #133 || "Clouds" By Zach Sobiech (Cover) || [ENG/ESP].

Hello everyone!😊 I hope we're all doing great. I must say, I feel blessed to be a member of this wonderful community. It has truly been an amazing experience, having to connect with so many talented artists here. I'm also really glad to be graced with the opportunity to partake in this week's edition. In line with the, wonderful theme "Opportunity" which has been selected for us by our spotlight artist @sekani, I'd be performing a cover of the song, "Clouds" by Zach Sobiech. I happen to have chosen this special song after listening to it just recently. The story behind it is truly sad but the lyrics hold an inspiring message which brings about a strong connection to the theme. Zach Sobiech who is behind this beautiful song was diagnosed with bone cancer Osteosarcoma and doctors told him that the cancer had spread and that he had only a few months to live. He then recorded this song about his battle with cancer in response to doctors' predictions. In this song, he inspires others to grab the opportunity and make the most of life just like he did while chasing his music dreams, He used this song as a means of saying goodbye to his family and friends and in the lyrics, he says; "If only I had a little bit more time with you.", Here he was referring to his girlfriend, he sang about the wonderful things they would have done together if he had the opportunity to live. It really touches me and each time I listen to this song, I feel bad that such an awful thing had to happen to him. This song really inspires me to be thankful for the great opportunity God has given, The Opportunity of Life!
