Here's another blog post from me that highlights my daily life happenings. And for today, I will be sharing with you the moments and experiences I had yesterday, August 11, Monday.
Quick Breakfast
I do have a lot of plans for the first day of the week, Monday. So I decided to have a simple breakfast that I could prepare quickly. I chose to have steamed sweet corn, partnered with a cup of coffee. This will energize me to do what I need to do in the morning.
Went to the Market
We have a small business in the market where my Mama sells vegetables and other necessities. I went to process some papers in the town proper, and I got a chance to visit our stall in the market. It's just a regular local market here, but this is where my Mama got her source of income that supported our family.
Bought Some Meat & Frozen Goods
Since I am already in the market, I grabbed the chance to buy some meat and other goods that we will consume in a week. Like, for breakfast and lunch. I bought some pork, chicken, hot dogs, ham, and more.
Monggo for Lunch
When I got home from the market, my sister-in-law had already cooked our lunch. She fried some fish, and for our vegetable dish, she cooked our favorite "Monggo". It was supposed to be for Fridays, but we don't mind having it on a Monday lunch.
Chill Drinking in the Afternoon
After having our lunch, there was a visitor who came over. It was my brother's colleagues. And I was invited for a chill drinking session with my brother's women friends. I did not say no since I got shy, and just sat down at the table with them. I only drank a little since it's not my alcohol brand. Still a nice moment talking about random life stories with the guests.
