Greetings, everyone. I hope you're all having a good day.
Here's another blog post from me that highlights my daily life happenings. And for today, I will be sharing with you the moments and experiences I had on Wednesday, August 20.
On the Way to the City
Guess what? I have been invited for a final interview at Puregold, but I had to travel for an hour to the city. The Audit Manager was in the main office, so I needed to go there for the interview. My partner had to go to work and couldn't accompany me at this time. I take the bus around 11:30 in the morning because my interview is at 1:30 in the afternoon. As I was on my way, I took a moment to read about the role I am playing. They were looking for an Audit Staff as part of the back office.
Finally, in Puregold Duty Free Subic!
When I arrived in the city, I had to take a taxi to get into the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. There was no other mode of transportation, so I had to pay extra for the ride. I touched down at the Puregold Duty Free Subic and headed straight to the office for my interview.
Snack After the Final Interview
It took me about an hour to talk to the Audit Manager of Puregold. I was answering her questions professionally, and sometimes casually. It was just a light interview compared to what I have experienced before. I managed to answer her case-to-case questions, but I don't want to sound confident. I will get an update about the application in a week, so let's see.
After the interview, I went straight to Jollibee to grab some snacks as I was really hungry. I only ordered their Mix & Match Combo, which includes spaghetti and a Coke float.
Free Shuttle at Royal Duty Free
Since I don't want to pay another expensive fare in a taxi, I thought of a hack. I went to the Royal Duty Free, which is just a walking distance from Jollibee. It only took me 5 minutes to walk there. I asked the security guard on duty about the free shuttle going back to the main gate. He walked me towards it, and I hurriedly hopped inside because it was almost complete. This saved me around $5, the taxi fare. I had to wait for about 15 more minutes before the bus started travelling. And when I got to the terminal, I travelled back home.
