Mang Inasal is a famous fast food restaurant here in the Philippines that offers the popular juicy and savory Chicken Inasal. You can mostly see it in towns and city malls, where people often eat with their bare hands. My partner and I love eating here. Whenever we're unsure where to eat, we always choose to come here and enjoy their chicken and desserts.
We went to the city for our monthly date, and we also planned on watching a movie in the cinema. For lunch, we considered eating somewhere fancy, but my partner insisted on eating at Mang Inasal because he was craving their chicken and halo-halo.
We were at the Ayala Malls Harbor Point, and we walked towards the fast-food restaurant. It was already around 1:30 in the afternoon, and we were hungry. It's a perfect time for our lunch, so we headed towards the restaurant right away. Of course, we already expected that many people would be eating inside.
When we got inside, I had already lined up at the cashier to place our orders and secure a table for the two of us. I ordered our most-favorite Chicken Inasal, and a Regular Halo-Halo for our dessert. After that, I walked towards the table that my partner secured for us.
While waiting for our orders, we just sat down in the table for a while and looked around. There are a lot of people eating here every day since this is one of the most iconic fast food restaurants in the country. We also saw a family relative of my partner and said hi to them.
My partner was also waiting patiently for our orders. He always looks at the counter whenever they announce table numbers. We will be the one getting our orders there, so we need to pay attention to the announcer. We can already smell the aroma of the chicken inasal, which makes the waiting time feel like an eternity.
The first order we received was our dessert, the famous Halo-Halo of Mang Inasal. We were so excited to eat it, but we restrained ourselves and waited a few more minutes for our rice meals. It took us about 15 minutes for everything we ordered to be prepared.
We have our Chicken Inasal, and we made the sauce for both of us. I ordered us the chicken leg and thigh, which are bigger than the Pecho or the chicken breast.
Our chicken was grilled to perfection, and it tasted like the comfort food we needed. Eating at this fast food restaurant was the best decision we made that day. We enjoyed the Filipino-style cooking and dessert. It's a combination of grilled and chilled taste that satisfied us. Mang Inasal never really disappoints, and we walked out of the restaurant with a happy tummy.
