There are times when we spend the night watching movies or doing our hobbies. As time passes, we enjoy it, and then our tummies begin to growl. We walk outside our room, check the fridge, and every corner of the kitchen for something to eat. And if you are motivated enough to incorporate your cravings into your life, cooking in the middle of the night will never be a significant problem.
When I was busy watching a movie, the thought of eating some rice crossed my mind. It was already past 12 midnight, but nothing would stop me. I went to the kitchen and checked for something I could cook. I saw some corn, pork, and leftover rice from dinner. So, I opt into cooking my version of Pork Pepper Lunch. It's my "lazy version" - do not expect much.
I prepared everything and started cooking the pork, and added some seasonings. I know how to cook this, but since we don't have some of the ingredients here in our kitchen, I made something out of what's available.
After cooking the pork, I put the leftover rice in the pan. I mixed it and just added more seasonings to achieve what I wanted. Then, I opened the can of sweet corn here and put half of it in the pan as well. For some, it may be too much, but I love corns, so I don't mind.
After a few minutes of cooking and adjusting the taste, I can finally enjoy it. I put everything in a bowl, and upon looking at it, I realized it was too much for one person, so I set aside another bowl for my partner to eat for breakfast. He was already asleep when I cooked this, and I didn't want to wake him up, as he had already taken some rest from work. I just enjoyed my food while continuing to watch a movie. It was indeed a great "midnight cravings satisfied" for me.
