I am the kind of partner who will support you throughout - from the things you love doing, the career you are chasing, and everything in between. I have mentioned before that my partner is a great basketball player since I met him years ago. And that's what caught my attention back then - and I had a crush on him for years.
This time, everything changed. I am now his number 1 cheerleader. A new basketball game is upcoming, and it means he needs a new pair of kicks. And here's how we got him one!
We don't need to go to the city to buy his new pair of shoes since there's a one-stop shop near us that sells high-quality kicks perfect for basketball players. We just traveled here on our motorbike for about 15 minutes.
When we got inside the shop, there were already other customers, and there was only one sales staff member available. We had to wait for a while to get assistance, but my partner had already been checking out the available shoes displayed inside the shop. He sat down for a while to give space to the customers who came first, but still managed to keep an eye on the shoes that he wanted.
They also have some shoes for women, so I started walking in that area to check if something would get my attention. I noticed that they are only selling casual shoes for women, and not the sporty style. I even looked through the shoes for men and tried to suggest to my partner, but he already has something in mind.
When the first customers were already done, the staff assisted my partner, and he asked for his size. While they are busy looking through the shoes, I took the chance to grab some perfume for myself. Of course, my partner will be paying for it. I got their best-selling one, and it was really good!
Finally, my partner got his new kicks. It was already handed over to him with a box and some freebies like socks, shoe wipes, and stickers. The staff also took a picture of him holding his new pair of shoes for their social media post. After that, we went straight home, and I could see how excited he was to wear it in his upcoming games.
