Recently, my partner and I became hooked on watching movies in the cinema as a way to escape and enjoy ourselves. It has been our date moments and adventures away from home. We had already planned to do it once a month or more, if we have some extra money, and we just watched Superman last week. That was our amazing weekend experience worth sharing here.
We had fine weather that day, and it wasn't too hot to go into the city. We rode on public transportation, which took us an hour. We enjoyed walking and having lunch together until we arrived at the cinema area.
We purchased two tickets and selected our seats. Of course, we wanted to be in a spot where we could enjoy the movie, on the upper-middle level. Then, we walk around the area to find a place where we can wait for the showing time.
We found empty rocking chairs. Since no one was sitting there, we took the opportunity to wait here. We chose a showing time of 5:30 in the afternoon, and it was still 3:00 PM when we sat down. We will need to wait for more than two hours, so we need to be in a place where we can stay comfortably.
My partner started playing his favorite mobile game on his phone. Glad we both have access to the internet; we're guaranteed not to get bored waiting. While he was playing, I took pictures of him, and I also started watching videos and reels on Facebook and Instagram while waiting.
I also thought of taking some pictures of myself, as I felt cute in my outfit and my Cherry earrings. Since we still have enough waiting time, we have not bought any snacks yet. We will do it 30 minutes before the movie showing time.

After waiting for more than two hours, we got everything we needed, from drinks to snacks. So we are good to go. Five minutes before the movie started, we had already entered the cinema through the entrance door, holding our tickets and snacks in hand. Also, I had the chance to capture a photo of Superman's poster and standee.
When we got in our seats, I just organized the snacks we bought. We have pizza, popcorn, and drinks. We purchased them from S&R, and the popcorn was complimentary from the cinema's snack bar. I just put them in front of us for easier access. We both love pizza, so it's a good thing that we chose this snack instead of some fries like we had last month.

The movie started playing, and the moment Superman appeared on the screen, we both felt a surge of excitement. We had been waiting for this moment for weeks, and we're glad we finally found some time to do it. We focused on watching the movie as soon as it started playing.

Throughout the entire movie, we are captivated by the storyline, the twists, and the scenes. We also enjoyed the snacks we bought for this cinema date. And watching Superman was the best decision we made for our date this month. I am looking forward to another cinema date next month, and hopefully, there will be a good movie showing again.
