My partner had been part of the basketball team that represented our town in the Intertown League hosted by our Governor. It was with pleasure and pride to be part of it, so I made sure to show my support to my partner all throughout his games.
And what made me more excited about watching his games? It's the available street foods around the People's Plaza. They are very accessible, and I have tried most of them. One of my favorites is the very affordable Takoyaki.
When I first bought at Oishi Takoyaki, I was just curious about its taste, knowing that it's very affordable compared to the Takoyakis I had before. I ordered 10 pieces of their best-selling flavor - Octobits. For only 80 Pesos, I already have 10 pieces.
After ordering, I saw the staff member writing them down in a notebook before he started cooking. It's his way of making sure he does not forget the orders since there are a lot of customers waiting in line. I watched him cook, like I used to do whenever I bought some Takoyaki. It was so satisfying and I felt like wanting to try it too.
After waiting for a few more minutes, my orders are already served. I just paid the exact amount since I do not want to wait much longer for my change. I just held my Takoyaki while I was walking towards the bench where I would be watching the game.
When I got there, it was already starting, but I still managed to eat first. I opened the packaging, and my mouth started watering when I smelled the aroma. It was delicious and worth it. Despite the affordable price, the taste did not disappoint.
