I was watching a vlog on YouTube lately about a traveler who is traveling around the world discovering new places and new cultures. The video was about China, Kashgar in particular, it is situated in Xinjiang near the borders with Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan which explains the amount of Muslims out there. the recent years China started fighting Muslims and imprisoned the majority because of the beard besides, closing all the mosques and has forbidden all Islamic rituals and forcing Muslims to drink acohol, eat pork and marry Chinese origin man/woman, which means you have to change your religion and get out of your roots and own culture.
They imprisoned more than 1 million in secret camps which the Famous FOX network made a documentary about, but the Chinese government came out and said that theses centers are boarding schools and disciplinary camps. But the truth is they were afraid of the Islamic extremism but it is just unreasonable jstifications.
First of all, according to Wikipedia Kashgar has a population of 500.000 known by Uighurs, most of them are Muslims, Xinjiang which means the new borders, was East Turkestan 70 years ago before China invaded it in 1949 and combined it to communism because of the natural resources and petrol it has and also the strategic location which connect China with the world and the main reason it is striking with an iron fist so it achieve and secure its biggest project that we will talk in details later.
The city Kashgar has cameras everywhere; I mean every single corner and police wherever you go and some of them walking around without the formal uniform work in secret. No one allowed to talk about what is going on out there or he will be imprisoned.
China is building the biggest project in the world as I said before which is going to help her be the leading country in trading, it is called Belt and Road initiative, was announced in 2013 and it aims to strength China’s economy and connectivity with the world, the project involved infrastructure development and investments in 152 countries and international organizations in Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and north & south America carried out effective cooperation in ports, railways, highways, power stations, aviation and telecommunications.
In my opinion it is a win win project for China and the rest of the world except it will dominate more and be stronger than before, but building a project on the ashes of a nation trying to erase its origin and culture and religion from existence that’s shameful and disgrace will stay in history of China.
