I heard a lot about the Fyre Festival documentary but I did not have the chance to watch it till yesterday, LOL it was a mess I never thought that would be the way it ended up, to those who don’t know what I am talking about I will explain in details what is Fyre Festival and what exactly happened there.

Fyre Festival is a music festival organized by Billy McFarland who is the founder and CEO of Fyre Media Inc and his partner the rapper Ja Rule, the reason behind the mess festival as I call it was to promote for an app called Fyre app which was made to book famous artists.

They put so much hype on it and choose an island called Bohamian situated in Great Exuma and they claim that it was Pablo Escobar’s island but latter the property owner showed up and messed up everything especially after the huge promotion they made on social media and TV channels, they also used internet influencers and flew dozens of famous models to the island in order to promote for the event among them Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Rhode, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner from the famous Kardashian family, Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Baldwin, Elsa Hosk, Hannah Ferguson and so many more…but, things don’t always go as they’re planned.

After the island’s owner refused to let them make the festival in his property they were obliged to move to another location where the event start facing so many problems related to accommodation, famous singers who refused to attend , security, and food that they promise they will provide. Instead of luxury villas and gourmet meals the festival attendees who paid thousands of dollars received sandwiches and shared tents as their accommodation HAHAHA.

As a result of all this mess Billy McFarland and his team members start sneaking out one after another out of the island leaving behind them a huge mess and unpaid local workers.

They were charged with at least 9 lawsuits seeking more than $100 million dollars in damages. But the story did not end there they kept their criminal deception after,by benefiting from the emails and personal information of the festival attendees trying to sell them fake VIP tickets for some special events, but the court stopped them after and charged the fraudster Billy and his company for 8 lawsuit.

The documentary says all and shows everything from start to finish I highly recommend it to watch.

سمعت الكثير عن الفيلم الوثائقي لمهرجان فاير ولكن لم تتح لي الفرصة لمشاهدته حتى يوم أمس ، كانت نهايته فوضوية لم أكن أعتقد أنه سينتهي به الأمر على تلك الشاكلة ، لأولئك الذين لا يعرفون ما أتحدث عن سأشرح بالتفصيل ما هو مهرجان فاير وما حدث بالضبط هناك. Fyre Festival هو مهرجان موسيقي نظمه بيلي مكفارلاند المؤسس والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة Fyre Media Inc وشريكه مغني الراب Ja Rule ، والسبب وراء مهرجان الفوضى كما أسميه هو الترويج لتطبيق يسمى Fyre app والذي تم إنشاؤه لحجز فنانين مشهورين. قاموا بتضخيم عملية الترويج للمهرجان ووقع الإختيار على جزيرة تسمى Bohamian تقع في Great Exuma ، ويدعون أنها كانت جزيرة بابلو إسكوبار ، لكن صاحب العقار ظهر بعدما سمع بالأمر فقلب الطاولة على المنظمين عندما رفض الأمر وخاصة بعد الترويج الكبير الذي قاموا به على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والقنوات التلفزيونية ، كما استخدموا شخصيات مؤثرة على الإنترنت ونقلوا العشرات من النماذج الشهيرة إلى الجزيرة من أجل الترويج لهذا الحدث من بينهم زوجة جاستن بيبر هيلي رود ، بيلا حديد ، كيندال جينر من عائلة كارداشيان الشهيرة ، إميلي راتاجكوفسكي ، إيلي راتجكوفسكي ، هيلي بالدوين ، إلسا هوسك ، هانا فيرجسون والكثير غيرهم ... لكن الرياح تجري بما لا تشتهي السفن. بعد أن رفض صاحب الجزيرة السماح لهم بإقامة المهرجان في ممتلكاته ، اضطروا للانتقال إلى موقع آخر حيث بدأ الحدث في مواجهة الكثير من المشاكل المتعلقة بالسكن والمطربين المشهورين الذين رفضوا الذهاب والأمن والطعام إذ وعدوا بتوفير ذلك. بدلاً من الفيلات الفاخرة والوجبات الذواقة ، تلقى المشاركون في المهرجان الذين دفعوا آلاف الدولارات السندويشات والخيام المشتركة كمحل إقامة لهم. نتيجة لكل هذه الفوضى ، بدأ بيلي ماكفرلاند وأعضاء فريقه يتسللون من جزيرة إلى أخرى ، تاركين وراءهم فوضى كبيرة وعمال محليين بدون أجر. وجهت إليهم تهم بتسع دعاوى قضائية على الأقل تسعى إلى تعويض أكثر من 100 مليون دولار. لكن القصة لم تنته بعد ، فقد احتفظوا بخداعهم الإجرامي بعد أن استفادوا من رسائل البريد الإلكتروني والمعلومات الشخصية للمشاركين في المهرجان الذين حاولوا بيعهم تذاكر مزورة لكبار الشخصيات في بعض المناسبات الخاصة ، لكن المحكمة أوقفتهم بعد ذلك واتهمت المحتال بيلي و شركته. الفيلم الوثائقي يقول كل شيء ويظهر كل شيء من البداية إلى النهاية.
