Recently all the news headlines are talking about the Chinese telecoms company Huawei and White House banning it from their commerce’s list. And as all we know Huawei’s Smartphone are running the famous and most used Operating system in the World; ANDROID which is developed by GOOGLE and plays a significant part in Huawei's Smartphone business , but the latter obeyed the administration decision and stopped Huawei from using their OS, except the public version but the Google play and the security protections from Google Play Protect will continue to function on existing Huawei devices for 90 days which they will receive the updates and everything as usual, what will happen next only GOD knows.
Intel and Qualcomm joined the squad by complying to the order, later on ARM which is a British chip designer company suspended her business with the company or the dangerous company as TRUMP called it in one of his interviews. The question that everyone is asking right now is why this ban for a huge company like Huawei?
Before diving in I would like to let you know that this problem has happened before with a Chinese company too called ZTE after the U.S government discovered that the company violated the existing sanctions on North Korea & Iran, which ended up by fining the company with $1 Billion dollars.
Trump’s administration said that Huawei is engaged in activities that are contrary to US national security and because of that Huawei’s product are no more for sale in USA unless they get a special approval from the government. This latter sees the company as a security risk and could probably monitor some sensitive U.S facilities through its network technology.
In my opinion, I believe that all this drama is just a business war, the new 5G technology is in the corner and what most of the world does not know that Huawei owns 35% of patents in the world while U.S companies owns 14% .From another side, APPLE which is a big company in U.S moved from the 1st place to the 2nd leaving SUMSUNG lead the way but, recently APPLE jumped to the 3rd place leaving Huawei in the 2nd place in number of sales around the world. It was a well planned move from U.S to fight a rising Chinese competitor and isolate it from the rest of the world.
