A Short Vacation With my Family at Maayo Hotel Resort

What a wonderful day my dear Hivers! I'm here again to take you to another paradise! This scenery will make you forget your problems as I introduce you to a living ecstasy. Another place that you'll surely like and would love to visit someday! Since it's already holidays, my family decided to take some time for a vacation this Christmas! A great place to spend your time with your family and friends, and feel the Christmas spirit touch your soul. The fresh air and the natural seawater can help you feel like a young youth again. And without further ado, I'll give you a tour of this beautiful resort! Maayo Resort   You can see here that even the entrance looks promising, you can already tell that this place is what you expected it to be.  The service here is good and the personnels are friendly, as we entered the reception area they warmly welcomed us inside. The environment is super clean and well taken care of, and the place is really quiet too! Here, you can relax your mind and body. While were waiting for our key to our room we patiently waited for my mother here in the waiting area. It was already 4 pm when we arrived I think, and the sun was already setting.  Together we walked towards our room to get some rest from the tiring trip, it was quite far it took us 25 minutes on the fastest route and about 13 km all the way there. But it was worth it when we arrived, all the stress and the exhaustion that was within me completely faded when I entered the room.   (My little sister had a wonderful time here! ❤️) Just as I expected it to be it's clean and well organized, the bed is clean and the bathroom too! The aircon was at the right temperature just the way we liked it, we settled in and lay on the bed while watching TV. Everything was great, so relaxing and enjoyable to waste your time with. I spent all the time left in the afternoon watching TV and lying on the bed while my sister and my mother went outside to go on a night swim in the pool. I was getting bored all alone in the room so I decided to take a little stroll outside since there were already many night lights in the resort.  I stepped outside and locked the door, and just when I was about to go I stopped by the sounds of the cute cats in the hallway! I figured that they were mother and daughter since they never separated from each other. They were so friendly and approachable! I figured that they were hungry because they followed me down the second floor. And I couldn't leave them behind so I spent some time with them for a while, after some time I said my goodbyes to the cute cats and walked around the resort to take some pictures.  The cold breeze was so nostalgic and magical. Somehow it reminds me of when I was young together with my family on the beach having a great time. I reached the place where my family was, my younger sister was having a great time of her life swimming around the pool on a cold night, I just sat there in the distance watching them enjoying their night, I didn't dare to swim with them because it was too cold and I'm not a fan of night swimming outdoors, just feeling the cold breeze on my skin makes me shiver. So I'll just take a splash tomorrow morning. We spent 1 hour outside before going back in, my sister was shivering from the cold AC hitting her skin even though I warned her not to swim because when we returned the room would be really cold.  Let's take a quick picture before going to sleep!  A beautiful morning! I didn't even realize that it was already morning! I got too comfortable sleeping inside, and the cold atmosphere here makes me want to sleep again. But I wouldn't miss my first sunrise here so I got up and went outside to feel the morning sunlight on my bare skin.  My morning just got even better when I was approached by the cute cats again! I was so happy that they remembered me last night, they were so cute and fun to play with! Before we ate breakfast my mother and my aunt invited us for a swim on the beach or the pool.    Finally, I could dip the beach without any problems now that the temperature changed, but still, the water was a bit cold. The water was so calm to watch and the silence was pleasing to the ears.  The rock formation was magnificent and very suitable together with the sea.   We didn't last long on the beach and we switched to the pool instead, there were only a few people in the pool since it was too early, the sunlight that was reflecting the water and the calming sound of Christmas songs all over the place was everything. I was starving now because it was already 7 am and I usually have breakfast at 6 am so I went back inside and took a quick shower and ate breakfast with my family. My little sister went back to swim and I just stayed inside watching TV alone in the room while playing online games with my friends too. It was almost time for us to leave and at noon we prepared to pack our things and wait outside. For the remaining time, I just took a quick nap and saved the energy for our trip back home. Time does fly fast when you're having a good time with your loved ones, so don't waste your life thinking about all the problems in the world and just accept the fact that maybe that's just the way the world works. So in this Christmas, spend your time with your family and your friends because life is too short not to have fun. So I'll end my story for today's blog my dear Hivers!
