Alright let's not kid ourselves here. I will never be a whale. BUT due to certain things happening this week I came into some funds. And I decided now is just a good of time as any to YOLO this Splinterlands Adventure! So without further ado let's dive into more bad decisions made by me in Splinterlands! Boy this will be fun!

Starting Point

We obviously need to talk about what kind of funds I am working with on this little Whale adventure. I have 140,700.582 DEC that is liquid and ready to spend!

Well I should clarify that I am going to keep probably 4-8 thousand to use on WILD Season Passes but who cares cause that is boring!

140,000 DEC and endless possibilities to waste spend it on.

My Account as it stands today!

We need to take account of what I have before I go on a spending spree so that we can see if it was worth it or not. Will it be worth it? No most definitely not, because if you know me and have read any of my previous Splinterlands posts you know I piss away DEC like it's water and then I may or may not regret it later lol

LAND

I have 7 plots of land currently (1 is listed for sale).

I have a Grain, SPS, Wood and Research buildings built but because of the cost of Research and SPS it makes zero sense to put workers on there until I have a Iron and Stone building as well. So for now I am just gathering up Grain and Wood to stockpile it until 1 day hopefully getting more land and more buildings.

Conflicts

I may be a whale for a day but my account is still a minnow. So my Conflicts Wagons are not looking to hot currently.

2,000/hr is not great but then again I only have 2 wagons. I guess I could buy better card and replace them but still not great. I could also buy packs and then just open then after the conflicts? hmmm decisions.

GUILD

I am a part of "NFG Club - Legion II" Guild. And while we are mighty... we are still small. What is holding us back though is our Hall is only level 2 and that just can't do!

WILD Account

My main account is used for everything except me battling in Modern Format. This account uses the ArchMage bot to battle in WILD format but I am usually stuck in Bronze and get shitty rewards each season because I just don't have the power that I need.

Collection Power of 100,000 is not the best. And I only have 2 GOLD FOIL Archons...

Let's Start Spending!

This is going to be tricky but I am going to try to keep a record of everything I spend and track it throughout this process. Wish me luck

Purchase #1

First thing is first. I need to do a solid to my Guild so I am going to level up our Hall to level 3!

We need 19,480 GP to level it up so that is what I will do!

And now that it is done..

What else?

Purchase #2

I searched for Gold Foil Archons and seeing as they are pretty cheap I figured I should pick some up!

I already have 1 'Obsidian' Gold Foil so I will pick 1 up of her and then 2 of each of the rest in the top row.

That set me back 15,283 DEC but totally worth it (I think).

I will upgrade them but won't bore you with all that. But I will show you the finished product!

6 Gold Foil Archons all at level 3, nice!

So to buy next? These are really tempting for a few reasons.

The packs are nice cause well they have cards in them and I can also just stake them to Conflicts so win win.

The Land Plot Claim is nice cause maybe... just maybe I can get a Stone/Iron plot.

Ignore the shitty Nightmare pack, I am not buying that crap.

But this is my Grains plot of land and it could use some help.

So I am going to buy 3 more Epic Gold Foil cards. Well 6 of them so they are all level 3.

Which sets me back 32,408 DEC.

What is crazy is just not how much more Grain I earn per hour. But also it costs WAY less DEC to power them

I think now it's time to just have some fun and piss away the rest of the DEC. I did good things so far and semi smart things so now it's fun time!

First up is this cool Archon I found.

4 Mana and it gives +1 Speed and also Return Fire to all Units? Yes please!

9,135 DEC... I think it's worth it!

If I am going to be buying cards off secondary to boost my WILD account I see zero reason to buy non-GOLD cards unless they are just that good and which means the Gold version is too expensive. But I might as well start with the cheaper Gold versions first. So I sort by Gold Cards from Chaos Legion and Rare or Epics only.

On this first page I see a few I don't have (okay not a few, a lot!). I am too lazy to crosscheck which ones I do have or not I decided to YOLO it and just buy 1 of each!

Which set me back 13,955.76 DEC and that's cool with me

So that is my spending on Gold Foil Unit.

Now it's time to buy some Archons (Regular) that I am missing!

Let's skip the pleasantries and get right into the meat and potatoes!

And now originally I was going to buy a few CA packs and stake them to Conflicts but I am a degenerate and YOLO!!!

12,138 DEC spent on 3 Standard Conclave Arcana Packs.

But I also need to re-up my potions..

So 4 more Alchemy Potions please for 200 DEC

And 15 Midnight Potions for 429 DEC!

And now we open our 3 Standard Packs!

Pack #1 is not awesome

Pack #2 is 3 Rares and 1 Epic.. okay now we are talking

Pack #3 is hot garbage.

Well that was a waste lol but you live and learn am I right?
