Samantha's a single mother with 2 kids, both male. She called them Xavier and smith, they were about 17 and 12 years old respectively. They lost "Mark their father last year and things got so tough for Samantha and the kids. She couldn't handle the bills all by herself. Even with how bad things are, it got worse when Sam found out that Mark owed some very bad people a lot of money before he died. Everything fell apart the moment Mark died. Xavier became aware of the situation, even though Samantha did everything she could to hide it. Xavier saw through the fake smile and laughter she always wore on her face, pretending everything was fine. He wanted to help his mom the best way he could, so he stormed out one day and didn't return till after dinner hours.

When he came home, he gave his mom a shit ton of money. Samantha was surprised, she was happy for a split second but that was before she decided to ask Xavier how he got the money. But no matter how hard Samantha questioned him to find out where he got the money, Xavier wouldn't say. Samantha throwed the money back at Xavier and asked him to return it back to where ever he got it from. When Xavier saw how persistent his mom was, he said to her; mom I already closed the deal, they had me do some stuffs to earn their trust but is all good now. This is not the time to lower our guards and argue amongst ourselves, we need to figure out a way to turn this 100k into 500k in a month. That's all the time I've got before they start coming for their money.
Who starts coming? Samantha asked. Where exactly did you get this money. Xavier ignored her for a few seconds before he answered her; it's the same guys dad owed 200k before he died, but they don't know I'm his son. Samantha sobbed, bowing her head. Xavier tried to calm her down but she wouldn't let him near her, So Xavier cried out loud, I wasn't going to sit there and pretend like I don't see you suffering, I know everything that's going on. I know how the electricity bills and other bills are overdue, how sometimes you bring home a little food and give to us, pretending you already had some on your way, then you go to bed hungry. I see how you work 3 jobs daily but it's still not enough to sort the bill especially with Smith's health de tolerating by the hour. So I'm sorry if you don't like what I did, but I did what I had to do, what I felt was right.
Samantha was stunned by Xavier's words, she didn't know that Xavier has kept such tabs on her. She looked at him whimpering, she said to him, I've never asked for your help, not even once. Even if you wanted to help, what happened to getting a Job? Xavier attacked with his words, a job? Really? I've been job hunting since I finished from college, but nobody is willing to employ a black assed man like my self. I thought by now I would be a big boy but no!!! All my dreams died the same day as dad, I've become useless and irrelevant to the community and even to my family. (Xavier said with tears rolling down his chin).
It was a long night of uncovering deep feelings, for both Samantha and Xavier. They both went to bed with broken spirits that night. Early hours of the next day, Xavier opened his eyes to see his mom sitting by his bed side. She said; Xavier I understand what you did, and why you did what you did. And I'm really sorry for my outburst last night. I just don't want you to end up the same way your father did. (Samantha said with tears in her eyes).
Xavier didn't know what she meant by ending up like his father, but he's main concern was to console his mom, he gave her a warm hug and promised her that he wasn't going to end up like his father. (Samantha sniffed) And said you know I never really told you how your father died. That caught Xavier's attention. He replied; what are you talking about, dad died out of a chronic heart damage in a car accident.
Samantha replied him; No, no, no. That was the story I told you and your brother so you would have a lot less to deal with. (Xavier was stunned, he didn't have any words). Your father was murdered, few weeks before he died, we started receiving threats from the guys your dad borrowed money from. The payment was due and your father didn't have the money to pay back because he was scammed. He thought he had hit a jackpot, when he invested into Lily way enterprise with all the money he borrowed. He didn't even notice he had been scammed, and before he realized it, it was already too late. They just killed your father like he was nothing. I would have gone to the police but at the time I thought abi it, it was already too late. The cop were only able to recover his dead body, they already took out his beating heart and probably sold it to get their money back. So you see? That's why I reacted like that when you told me you borrowed this money. You know!! I can not loose you too.
It's alright mom, I now understand, Xavier responded, his eyes focused on the window like he's seeing something. Pain struck his heart and he felt like a wild beast. Different thoughts of what he will do to avenged his father, kept on reshuffling inside him like some sort of kill machine. He consoled his mother and put her mind in order, so she left for work. Through our that day, Xavier was extremely mad at himself, he had a one on one chance with the man who murdered his father, but he was totally ignorant about the whole murder thing.
He started planning a payback, there was only one way to get back at the man who murdered his father and it was from the inside. He had to become a trusted and legit member of their association. Then and only then will he be able to get deep informations and evidence that will lead to the exposure of the murbs. It was a big risk, but Xavier didn't care, it either he takes them down or they take him down, it's a kill or be killed situation.
Xavier began by using the money they gave to him, to start something really small and expanded it slowly. In the next week he already made twice the money he was loaned. He was happy specially because he knew if he could pay up the money on time and add some miscellaneous on top of it, the murbs will start to like him, that way he starts to win their trust over. Xavier worked extremely hard, day after day, night after night, he barely had time to sleep. All he did was move from one strategic point of sale to another. By the end of the month, Xavier made five times the money, he managed to turn 100k into 10,000k he gave his mom 500k and took the remaining 500k and went back to the murbs and requested to see their boss.
He was taken to Jayden the boss in an underground layer he delivered the money with the miscellaneous on to of it. Jayden was pleased, he asked Xavier to come and work for him, he agreed. He was asked to resume work at 9 Pm the same day. Xavier left, he use the rest of the money he had left to purchase micro cams which he installed to his clothes, he linked the live feed to his laptop for back up, in case the cam got damaged in any way.
He returned to the murbs at exactly 8:30 Pm, he wasn't late rather 30 minutes early. When the time was right, they brought Xavier into their main chamber where they arranged and repacked hard drugs for sale. They did all sorts of dirty stuff including packing human organs and storing them in a freez chest where it will be preserved and kept intact until the buyer comes to get it. In one night, Xavier caught the entire operation on camera, completely safe from any danger or harm. Xavier was selected amongst the people that will take drugs out and sell them. Xavier took the drugs apportioned to him, and moved to the exact location where he was asked to go. Before 4:00 Am, Xavier finished selling his own drugs and he returned to the murbs. He was the first to return, he decided to take a nap while he waited for the rest to come in. At about 6:30 Am the whole Team was back and theall went to give account of their sales. Xavier was the only one who sold up all his drugs, the rest of the team had a few stash left behind. Jayden was surprised because Xavier came back on time and he sold up all his drugs and the rest of the team came back much later but they couldn't sell up their. He payed each of them their fees for the day, when they were all about to retire for the day, Jayden asked Xavier back and gave him extra cash for his effort, Xavier thanked him and left. He went home, copied the evidence into a hard drive and took it straight to the police headquarters slightly out of town, he wanted to make sure that the murbs were apprehend. He gave them their location and the exact time they needed to be there. But Xavier knew one thing for certain, if he leaves the police to handle the mission alone, they will blow sirens all the way to that place, they might end up not catching even a fly. So he asked to go with them, he told them that if they could protect him, he'd get them inside undetected, they agreed and took off.
When they got there, the officers redressed like one of the murbs, deep under cover. Xavier to them straight to Jayden like he wanted to introduce his friend to the business. The murb stars didn't even realize what was going on until it was too late. The police secured their secret exit door and apprehend all of them, not even a fly escaped. Jayden the boss was sentence to life imprisonment with hard labor. Xavier got the revenge he wanted with out spilling any blood. He took the money he got from the drug night sales which he didn't tell the cops about 😀 and started a legit business. He became his own boss and he even employed some black people who were jobless to help him. He took Smith to one of the best hospitals in town and gave him quality treatment, he was recovering very well and Samantha was pleased with what Xavier achieved all by himself. Samantha quit all her stressful jobs to come work at Xavier's but Xavier didn't permit her.
2 years later, Samantha died of cancer. It appears she has had it for too long and kept it a secret from Xavier and Smith. The cancer cells develop too strong that when they tried to fight it, it was already too late. They buried her next to Mark's grave, it was a very sorrowful period for both Xavier and Smith, as they battle to move on with their lives, orphaned at such a young age....
