Hi everyone it's been a while since my last post I have had quite an exhausting week I thought of giving myself a treat by visiting a new spot down the street it's called BARACUDA it's a spot known for a live band every weekend and it special barbeque cat fish and barbeque meat popularly known as suya in the Northern part of Nigeria
.
Guinness is a famous Irish stout known for its dark color, creamy head, and unique taste. It originated in Dublin in 1759 and is now brewed in over 50 countries including Nigeria . While often called "black," Guinness is actually a very dark ruby red, according to Guinness. (looks like black to me ๐)
Growing up some elderly people believed that Guinness cures fever I don't know how true that is ๐,could be folk tales told to prevent children from drinking this particular brand of alcohol . .
One thing I like about this beer is the twist of the Taste it's bitter and sweet at the same time ,like I said in my previous post I don't like bitter beer ,it should have a balance in taste .
it's also has roasted barley flavor which I really like .They also made another type of beer for the ladies and it Tates like malt although it has a bitter taste too but it's sweeter than this Guinness stout ,it was made just for ladies it's called Guinness Smooth ๐คญi'm looking forward to reviewing it as well hope it Tates like it's described .
If I would rate this beer I would rate it 9/10 everything about it was amazing and intentional from the Branding to the smooth Taste down to the flavor,am rating it a 9 because it was quite bitter ๐,I had spicy meat barbeque to complement the taste of my beer and in all it was an amazing evening ,I got home and slept like a baby ๐but the next morning was an activity filled one so I had to wake up early again. ๐( I sometimes wish there was two Saturdays in a week๐๐)
