But as Christians , we are not supposed to watch every movie , we should be very careful of the type of movies that we allow into our lives. Some movies contains immorality, ungodliness, and some corrupt values that goes against the teaching in the word of God. This can influence our heart and mind in a negative way. Our faiths , and even our emotions can be affected by the type of movie we watch. If the movies we watch are filled with violence, tragedy, or immoral behavior , it can lead us to fear , temptations or even depression. This is the main reason why we as Christians are urged not to watch worldly movies as it has a way to drawing us away from God. In as much as movies are a form of entertainment, not every entertainment is beneficial to us as Christians. Choosing what we watch also means guarding our hearts. We can be corrupted if we keep on watching movies that support and glorify sin, but if we can choose entertainments that is inline with teh core values of God will keep us focused to God.
