According to him, everything created by God was actually perfect, this also included both the tree of Good and evil. The fruits that was placed in the Garden of eden was for the nourishment of both Adam and Eve, but he left them with one specific instruction, do not eat the fruit from a particular tree. So the sin was not actually Adam eating the fruit , but because he disobeyed The commandment of God. The Enemy of God which we all know to be Satan tempted Adam by using Eve, the aim was to destroy the creation of God using disobedience. To make it clearer, Bro. Eli compared the fruit to marijuana. We were meant to understand that When Marijuana is used accordingly, it contains health benefit, but the same marijuana can be very harmful when abused. The is applicable to everything that was created by God, they are all Good but the way we use is what really matters. The purpose of the fruit was to test obedience, not to cause destruction. It was really sad that the test was failed by Adam, it was as a result of disobedience that evil came to existence. This lesson is a very kind reminder that what ever it is that was created by God is really perfect and beneficial, But is the choices we make with them will determine if it is actually a blessing or course to us. The mistake made by Adam and eve should serve as a lesson to us Christians. We should hold strongly the commandments of God.
