Marvel the Tinubdan's Beauty- the Source of Mantayupan Falls

 "A happy day to everyone @chimegipamus is here again sharing my visit to the water source of one of the prestigious water fall in the south. Join me as we journey together in this simple yet unforgetable story. It was a week ago when I read many posts on social media about this place. My husband's hometown was near this place, but he didn't know this one.  It was time to visit his parents again so we decided to drop by. It was Tuesday morning and started to travel early. Our car needed to be fixed its air-conditioning so we need to be at his parent's house before lunch to avoid the heat of the weather.   Together with us were our church driver and his family with my mom and my fur babies. As we drove to Barili we stopped over at the Kandingans place to have our breakfast. We did not stay longer and directly drove to the place we were planning to visit. It takes almost an hour travel from Naga to barangay Dakit Barili Cebu where we must take a turn. When we reached the Barangay I contacted my friend to give us the exact location. Then we proceeded to Barangay Bagacay where we found what we were looking for, a bumpy road going uphill. From Dakit National Highway we travel almost fifteen minutes. We passed by on some tomato and mango plantation.   As we got nearer to the area cold weather welcomed us with very nice cloud formations. It was just a small barangay road, some were cemented some were not. Then the exact destination we arrived.  It is called Tinubdan or the source. As we parked the car we were so excited to go down and looked at the place. It was a big manmade pool sorrounded by trees where many came to visit and experience the cold water from a spring.  Many people from the nearby barangay also came to wash their clothes. There was no entrance fee and located just beside the road. The water was turquoise and clear. You will be enticed to take a plunge into the water due to its freshness. There were no tables and chairs or any cottages to rent. But you can buy some food from a sari-sari store and a barbecue vendor.   It was not developed into a business place so people can still wash clothes on the sides of the pool while locals and visitors can take a swim anytime. But despite it, you can never go home without a picturesque view of the entire place.  This water was the one that flowed directly to the Mantayupan Falls where many people came to visit. It was just a simple source yet it produced the beauty of the the highest falls in the south.   Because I am enjoying the cold fresh water I forgot to take pictures of my fur babies taking a bath. The weather is hot so we did not stay any longer. We decided to go home to my inlaws where the native chicken soup was waiting. > It reflects a little bit of our life. You may be simple and not many people recognize your presence but as you continue to stay humble and be kind you will produce good and wonderful things in the life of others.
