Greetings everyone!
There are many festivals in India we all know about it, and we all celebrate with lot of excitement. Well India culture is very different from almost every country in this world. We love to celebrate all the festivals and even more important then that people over here have made many different castes and they are following their own culture, but there are some festivals which unite all the community together. And in that festivals people are keeping some fast or they are making some tradition, but at the end everything is for the sake of god and for blessings.
As I said there are many festivals and one of my favourite festival is NAVRATRI, its the festival in India where we dance and play garba for 9days it's a birthday of our god its been celebrate for lord durga. Now the tradition which we follow is about the fasting even on this days, well I am from jain community and we already have a culture to have a fast for 8 days in a year. But even on this days me and my family are following from a long time. The exavtly what we do is about....
As soon as the sun goes down we don't eat any food after the sunset and even those days we don't eat food like onion, potato or etc... many more things. Well I don't about any reason why we are following or what is the reason behind this. But me and my family are following this things from long ago. But it's not necessary but sometimes we also eat this. As I said I don't know the reason and theory behind this. There are many more tradition which people are following from long time.
But if we all see that today's generation are not following any tradition and all they are doing this just because of their parents otherwise they don't even have any interest to know about the past of all this. Even I am from this generation and I am also like that, but slowly I am trying to know about all this things in deep to be honest. And India is one of the most beautiful country because there are many community even after that we are living with peace and love with each other. The first six months of the year are going dry, but the last six months of year we have lots of big festival and tradition over here.
