Hi HIVE fam, let me share with u where I am now, and where do I want to be by the end of the year. I weigh in at 155 lbs. That's a good step forward from when I was living on Maui.. eating peanut butter sandwiches and 1 rice dish for dinner. (oh, and a banana for breakfast) Nowadays I am eating much much more and gaining weight steadily.
I did gain my way to 160 lbs, but felt my belly was getting too big, so I backed off the calories just a bit. I want to gain about 1-2 lbs each week would be all good. My overall goal is 180 lbs by 12/31/25. I wouldn't be unhappy if I reached 200 lbs. Then I could melt off some of the 'bulk' and get back to 190 lbs. (that's probably the perfect weight for my height, age, etc)
Right now I am hitting the gym once a week. Now that I've done that for a month, I will increase that to twice a week.. do that for a month.. then up it to 3 times per week. I also want to add at least once a week training at a bjj place over here.
Back in college I trained with Relson Gracie.. about 3 times per week. I was just about to get my blue belt when I stopped going. :( Now, I want to try again.. get my body moving. and it would be good to be a 'master' ]. (a ggj dude over 40)
