First thing.. Good Morning to my wonderful fellow Hivers. :) I was just thinking of my goals for myself and for the future of hive. (as it exists in my puny influence)
Let me start with just a tiny rundown of important stats as of now.. I am 51 years young. I feel that is not even half of my life yet, so I'm still cooking,, I am living in CA for now.. my mom is here and she has said many times how I cannot leave her until she dies! :P
I grew up in ohio , but I guess that dont really matter. Let's see.. Oh yea, a pretty big happening that has shaped my life is that I was in a car accident back in 98'. My car was totalled and my left hip and leg were broken. I spent many months in a wheelchair and my tennis days were over. I cried over it (NOT) and ever since I have been a keyboard warrior.. GO HIIVE!! :)
I am recently divorced, but am left with 2 great kids and me and my x are still friends. Yes.. I 'lost' everything. actually, I gave everything to my wife so she can take care of her and the kids. My daughter is 20 now and has a full time job, lives on her own, and has MORE money in the bank than I ever did at her age. My son is 16 and still in high school, but quite a BIG boy already.
I went to Philippines to meet my x wife. We lived there for a couple years as she was getting a visa so we could go back to Hawaii. we returned to PH a few years later so that she could give her kidney to her older sister. We we living there, in Quezon city, for a few years until covid chased me back to Hawaii.
now for the goal part.. I plan on returning to Philippines (retiring there) and going full hive hero! like really spreading the word and getting lots and lots of ppl involved.. to the tune of hopefully substantially increasing the size of hive and Philippines share of the pie! :)
