Good Morning hive fam,
I wanted to share a few things I learned from my 'reading' (listening) of the audiobook Youe life or your Money'.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5H9G1VWUC0Q
(i found a free recording online. thanks Curious Reader on youyube)
(this is not the version I listened to. I heard it read by Viki, with her nice human voice. This one is fine, though.. if u like AI voices..)
It came free with my trial of audiobooks. (a subscription service from amazon that gives 1 or more 'free' audiobooks per month for slow or lazy readers like me)

(ps. if u cancel in time, it is totally free and they got quite the library, so u can find most anything u want. also, with amazon, it is just a click to cancel.. very easy and fast)
so, just to paraphrase the keys that I took away from my learning..
Enough IS enough.. we are taught from when we are just babies, to get more and more things to satisfy our need and make us 'happy'. but, as babies, we need only milk or a fresh diaper or to be held, in order to satisfy us. as we grow older, it become new phones or clothes, then new cars or fancy gadgets, etc. a key to being happy and content is just to STOP the cycle of constant consuming and just enjoy the things u got..
Time spent.. if u work a JOB (hourly wage) then this directly relates.. that is, is what you are doing WORTH the time you are spending on it? For example, you work X amount of hours to get a paycheck. Is that time spent worth the money u recieved? would u rather be doing something else? like hiving?? :P
Lastly,
Minimize expenses, Maximize income :)
of course there's more u will learn here, but that's the stuff I remember now.. have a great day all!
