Gotta stay hydrated.
Heya hive fam, this is the second part of my first workout at my new gym. I did a full body workout just to get back into the swing of things, and to get familiar with all the machines available.
back in the day.. I would've chosen to use a power rack..
but nowadays I just use the machines.. mostly cuz they are much faster and safer, since I don't have to carry the heavy plates around. Even faster.. I just use dumbells and do supersets (two or more exercises one right after the other) to save time and having to walk around and set things up. :P
I started with the OG chest press machine. This one works the chest (of course) but also some of the arm and shoulders too. This is a good pushing exercise for sure.
For the first of the pulling exercises, this machine targets the upper back, as well as u get some more arm and shoulders as well..
Onto Biceps.. I like this machine since it is so easy to do a set of heavy, then drop the weight (just move the pin), do another set, then drop the weight again, do another set..
it's perfect for a quick, intense, drop sets.. feel the burn!
and then it's onto triceps. This one is my favorite machine for tri's..
or this one is equally as good..
and it was just about 1 hour of working out and my uncle was ready to go.. so I quickly did one more 2 sets of this pulling machine.. just to stretch a bit and to finish things off..
That's it. Now that I am over 50 I only do about 2 sets of 5-6 exercises per workout sesh. I also start with a quick warmup on the bike as well as I do a few isometric work and I like to do an ab exercise.. also to stretch and to warm up the muscles.
