I've always had this problem of giving up when things don't go my way, or when I get disappointed. I'm a makeup artist Or should I say, used to be a makeup artist. I started it with so much zeal But after I had my very first heart breaking disappointment. I lost interest in it. So I got this makeup job and was supposed to make up 5 girls. My excitement didn't even let me make proper plans. I didn't make proper arrangements with the 5 girls or even inform the organizers of the show that I was going to make up their models.Then I rushed out to buy some makeup materials with my last card. I was feeling like an investor for using my last card to buy materials for a job that hasn't been properly secured.😂 And on the day of the show The girls told me they had gotten someone else. The organizers of the show brought a different makeup artist for them. I was heartbroken The only thing I could do was cry, shout, curse myself, and the girls that disappointed me 😂💔 I eventually made up just one girl and she didn't even pay me. I was pained after the show And after it I dumped my makeup kit and gave up. "Chisom the universe is against you doing this makeup job" that was the only thing on my mind But I was wrong!!! The universe wasn't against me I was wrong to just give up Failure shouldn't stop you!!! It shouldn't have stopped me either My failure was a sign that there was still room for improvement My failure was a sign that there was something I didn't do right. So many times I've given up on things because I failed at it But it shouldn't be so. What am I trying to say here; Don't let your failures stop you That stumbling block could be a medium for you to step up to the next level But you can't and will not step up if you just give up Let your failures motivate you to be better 😉
