Yeah! It's a period of celebration and with a deep reflection along side too. Today Nigeria celebrated it's sixty five years of independence, in essence it's like saying my beloved country marks six decades plus without the colonization of the westerners.

Facts still stands as a Nigerian living in Nigeria I hope for the country to be totally free from it's corruption eating deep on its self by people of powers and influences. Truthful as it maybe, not all citizens really celebrated this independence, some celebrated though but majority is wearing it those fake smiles when expressing or replying the congratulatory pleasantries.

When a country celebrate it's independence and over one hundred and fifty millions of it's citizens lives in deep poverty, it draws up a lot of questions. Beginning from the accountability of the past and present president, governors and ministers. How well have they handled the country this past years, I believe if handled on credibility we will know know the answer and we will all see the wonderful impacts it would have created.

I write today about my country's independence and also it's improvement, I really can't celebrate when there isn't something worth celebrating except if I added a year to myself though.

From dusk to dawn every single soul in my community was just discussing, some lamenting saying there shouldn't be a public holiday to celebrate independence because there is nothing really to celebrate, is it with hunger and tears? They all mumbled.

Despite all this wreckage caused by the past and present administration I still have that little believe and large faith that soon enough they would be a real turn around in government administration with the true change overhaul. The cost of commodities, goods and transportation is continually hiked for unnecessary reasons. I visited the internet today hoping to come across different kinds of independence day celebration instead what I saw was not appealing, citizens of Nigeria wasn't moved that the country just added a year from not been colonized.

Well as for me, I was just indoors keeping myself and my brains busy, working from home has never been a bad idea.

If truly a country wants to become great, I think but the government and it's citizens needs to build it together everything mustn't be left for the government alone, there a lot of bad citizens taking great advantage of this country's incapacitation. These individuals mist be brought to face the law.

I just remembered that when the judiciary committee of a country in corruptible that means the whole country isn't safe. My message to my beloved country Nigeria, from north to south and from east to west I blessed the day we shall come as one voice to speak against the corruptible beings leading us astray and to destruction, putting aside any form of religious sentiment, tribalism and bigotry and make this one time great country greater again. Arise O compatriots! Togetherness of both old and young was the only and greatest weapon these politicians fears and never wants it existence. God bless the federal republic of Nigeria.
